In response to inquiries from the media, we wish to clarify Rohaizat Othman’s status as an advocate and solicitor.
The Advocates and Solicitors Disciplinary Board struck Rohaizat Othman off the Roll of Advocates and Solicitors on 7 March 2008 after he was found guilty of misconduct. The Disciplinary Board’s decision arose from an investigation into the complaint lodged against Rohaizat Othman by the purchaser of a piece of real property. According to the complaint, Rohaizat Othman failed to refund almost RM 161,000 to the complainant after the transaction was aborted.
Rohaizat Othman appealed against the decision of the Disciplinary Board to the High Court, and the appeal was dismissed on 12 August 2009. He is therefore legally disqualified from practising as an advocate and solicitor.
The finding of misconduct is personal to Rohaizat Othman, as the Disciplinary Board would not hold a lawyer liable for the actions of his/her law partner(s).

Kalau dah pekong,pekong jua akhirnya,sekarangni hanya UMNO sahaja suka cium pekong,melambak2 jenis2 pekong yg bau busuk di stok oleh UMNO,patutlah ahlinya bertempiaran lari kat PKR,apadah tak ada lagi ahli2 yg cerdikpandai dekat UMNO diP.P,selain menonjol pekong yg satu2 sahabat rapat zahid,tukarlah pekong tu nanti berjangkit mcm H1N1….

They are really desperate, running out of idea or just plain stupid choosing a lawyer buruk that had been barred from the bar council due to integrity problem (cheating own client money) to stand for election. WAWLOW EH!!! Really Malaysia Boleh!! If he wins, I will not cast a single vote in my life here in Malaysia. HOW TO TRUST ANYONE ANYMORE Except TOK GURU.
I used to vote BN during Mahathir time not becos they are good but we were made to believe they are the best by potraying the oppositions being a militants/extremist. But now, we know who is the real Extremist that uses MACC/POLICE/FRU to offend peaceful rally and selective persecutiona.
Now we have a cheating lawyer as their candidate…..PATHETIC but it fits their requirement and their party aspirations……cheating the RAKYAT all the time, everytime.

The Malaysian Bar Council is a professional body upholding justice and govern the conduct of lawyers. As teh Bar Council had already clarifed the truth of this case, the voters have the right to ask if the leadership of BN view the conduct of the said BN candidate as “clean” ? or even the said candidate is not clean, he would deliver BN’s promises to the constituents ?
It is pointless for many people to guess if the PAS candidate is making a falseful accusation against the BN candidate or not. We got to trust the Bar Council.

Ada cerita lain yg mengatakan si Rohaizat ni dihukum tanpa kehadirannya kerana skait/MC dan koperasi pun dah hantar surat kepada majlis peguam untuk menarik balik pertuduhan. Walaubagaimanapun, penyamun tetap penyamun lah. Aku kira, mahkamah akan melepaskan dia dari verdict bersalah ni. Mahkamah negara kita ni kan Umno yang punya.

Telah terbukti bahawa calon BN tidak ‘bersih’. Adalah memalukan bangsa dan mengkhianati negara jika calon yang ‘kotor’ ini memperolihi lebih dari 3 undi.

This umno candidate is hailed as hero by umno as he had solved problems arising from the discrepancies of refunding monies on a deal that was aborted.
Sheesh he is solving problems which in the first place should not happen, especially so when he represent a legal entity entrusted for the transaction.
YES you can be UMNO HERO if you failed to refund the money and pay back later.
YES you can be a UMNO problem solver if you solve problems which should not happen in the first place.
YES you can be an umno candidate if you are found breaching the ethic of you professionalism
and YES those who vote this guy will be a HERO too.
