The Permatang Pauh by-election has become the focus of the whole country and the world because it is not a contest between Anwar Ibrahim and Ariff Shah. It is not just a by-election about who should represent Permatang Pauh.
It is a battle for the future of Malaysia – of 27 million Malaysians and future generations.
The 58,459 voters of Permatang Pauh have a historic mission to perform and three things to accomplish on polling day on August 26:
- to speak up on behalf of 27 million Malaysians to reaffirm in the most convincing and decisive manner possible the historic result of the March 8 general election for political and economic change and reforms;
- to send a clear and unmistakable message to the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi of the deep and widespread national disappointment at his failure to fulfil his latest promise that he has finally heard the message of Malaysians in the March 8 “political tsunami” and his new undertaking to implement the many stillborn reform promises as he has nothing to show for the past five months whether over police reforms as establishing the IPCMC, judicial reforms or an all-out war against corruption; and
- to endorse Anwar Ibrahim as Prime Minister when a Pakatan Rakyat federal government is formed.

The time has come for you to decide the future for a better Malaysia. I am an ordinary citizen and I support the agenda of Pakatan Rakyat. Vote wisely and a vote for DSAI is a vote for a better Malaysia. To me DSAI is a leader who is courages who will fight for our rights, a more transparency gorvenment, equality and a better future for all Malaysians. Pemilihan SPR untuk diadakan PRK di tanggal 26 Ogos (Selasa) pada hari bekerja merupakan strategi awal untuk UMNO/BN melaksanakan sebesar2 dan selicik2 penipuan untuk memberi pukulan maut kepada DSAI.
Dari segi moral kehadiran penyokong PR seramai 50,000 orang, PR telah menang.
Dari segi moral kehadiran penyokong BN seramai 5,000 orang, BN telah kalah.
TETAPI kemenangan yang sebenarnya ialah setelah undi dikira.
Itu adalah hakikat.
Walau pada PRU yang lalu DSWA mendapat majoriti 13,000 undi
IBU SEGALA PENIPUAN sekali ini akan melenyapkan majoriti tersebut.
Untuk itu BN telah mengumpul semua pakar pemikirnya untuk merencanakan
tipuhelah yang paling licik dalam sejarah pilihanraya.
Yang penting menang dahulu.
Bantahan belakang kira.
Yang penting DSAI dimalukan dahulu.
Yang penting DSAI mesti dihalang menjejakkan kaki di Parlimen.
Walau pada berapa harga. Bukan juta, bukan ratus juta malah billion pun UMNO/BN akan korbankan.
Walau dengan apa cara penipuan.

with the absence of Samy Velu in parliament there is not going to be any leaks when it rains. This time around its going to leak all the misdeeds and all the bulldust that the umno and bn had been spraying and poluting the serene country. DSAI will win handsomely in this mother of by-election and make all the mothers of this land happy ever after.
bodowi paling dibenci, berpura-pura mr. clean, katanya nak kembalikan intergrity badan polis, badan hakim dan anti rasuah, tapi hatinya yang paling busuk.
If it is to be a clean and fair election, I have no doubt that Anwar will win convincingly. Only BN tricks will change the results of the elections. My vote is for Anwar.

Saya percaya Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim adalah orang yang berpengetahuan/educated person
yang boleh membaik pulih ekonomi malaysia.
Pada masa dulu Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim dalam Barisan Nasional, dia pernah memberi ceramah tentang malaysia budget, kongsi kereta, dan banyak lagi..
Saya percaya dia akan membaiki pulih..dan saya percaya tuhan ada mata dan keadilan,
biar tuhan tolong dato seri anwar ibrahim untuk mendapat keadilan

Everyone in Malaysia please take heed of Mr Lim’s speech. The future of the Chinese and Indians rests on this by-election. As a third generation Chinese, I have nowhere to go least of all China . This is where my future lies and that of my children and grandchildren. Let us not squander this chance - it may be our last one!
