Timbalan Presiden PKR Dr Syed Husin Ali hari ini mengangkat sumpah sebagai anggota Dewan Negara untuk tempoh tiga tahun.
Beliau mengangkat sumpah di hadapan Yang Dipertua Dewan Negara Datuk Wong Foon Meng di bangunan Parlimen di Kuala Lumpur.
Syed Husin, 63, yang dilantik oleh Dewan Undangan Negeri Selangor, berkelulusan ijazah doktor falsafah daripada London School of Economics dan berkecimpung dalam bidang politik sejak 50 tahun lepas.
Ketika ditemui Bernama selepas majlis angkat sumpah itu, beliau melahirkan perasaan gembira dan berharap menyumbang idea yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh semua pihak. BERNAMA

The great man of conscience, principles, discipline and perseverance…..a marathon man!…At last, he reached the platform where he stand tall and RECOGNISED!.
He shamed all those who took numerous short-cuts to overtake him…..those political hyaneas who have no values worth mentioning no decent man appreciates.
He shamed those in governmental positions with authorities but willingly sold their mamas and papas the minute a corn is dangled infront of their forehead.
He shamed the previous previous Prime Minister who undisputedly carry the title and became known as the ultimate GODFATHER OF CORRUPTION OF MALAYSIA which Dr Syed Hussin is in the forefront battling the menace. Dr Syed Hussin is still SPECKLY clean….and the man hated all over the nation as the scourage of corruption grips the nation, the rakyat and the economy!. That man today is busy blaming every other person EXCEPT himself. A true blue Marchiavellian army!….
Dr Syed Hussin still walks with sandals yesterday?. I hope not….for sure, he has had his castle built there and waiting for his arrival!….ALHAMDULILLAH!
