From Malaysian Mirror
PKR supremo Anwar Ibrahim has given party leaders and members two choices — stay loyal or leave if they do not want to adhere to party policies.
He said he could accept criticisms against the party, but would not compromise with leaders and members who could not follow the stipulated party policies.
All party members must support the transformation agenda, work for the Pakatan Rakyat or be sacked from the party,” he said when opening the Penang PKR Convention here Sunday night.
Anwar said the stance was taken as there were many PKR leaders who wanted stern action taken against errant members.
“Give your commitment to the party or leave the party and join Umno,” he said.
Voices of discontent
In recent months, there have been growing voices of discontent and disillusionment from members aired publicly. Some were blatant criticisms hurled at the party leadership.
Notably among the affected states were Selangor, Sarawak and Sabah. One PKR state assemblyman in Selangor has resigned from the party to become an independent BN-friendly member.
In the two East Malaysians, grouses are still being heard against the PKR leadership in Kuala Lumpur.
Last week, PKR president Dr Wan Azizah went on damage control, telling members that she was aware of the problems at hand and was making efforts to put things on the right track.

i agreed no more on this, DSAI !

Datuk Seri – As with regards to the Sabah issue, it would be best to let Jeffrey Kittingan go. Asking this warlord to change his mind to stay on would only embolden him for more demands in the future which may pose a headache to you, something you can do without until the party is on a better footing. Right from the beginning, I knew his stay in PKR would not last long as his reputation as a party hopper has long preceded him. To me, no loss but the operations in Sabah must be tighten up by having capable leaderships, to prepare the party for the 13GE which is just another 3 years away.

Sdr Azman,

I strongly support this stern move, DSAI.
It’s about time that you woke our leaders up and remind them that they have duties to fulfilled to the people and party. Back 1.5 years ago, admittedly, there were some of our leaders/wakil rakyat, who contested in the GE12 as ‘bidan terjun’, and thus did not expect to win. This is glaring true for some of our leaders like YB Badrul in Selangor, who, as RPK had told us in his blog, were sleeping at home while people were counting votes at his DUN. RPK and others have had to go to his house and alert him (and to his surprise) that he had won!
YB Badrul is just one of those many leaders we have, who actually lacks the confident in the party’s ability and potential, despite them being our wakil rakyat. They UNDERestimated the political wave at that time, which turns out to be a ‘political tsunami’. Now, they find themselves having power they never expected to have. Sadly, after 1.5 years of winning, some of them still could not come to terms that they are now part of the ruling government in PR states. These YBs continue to think and act like a normal citizen with no obligations to the people.
In other example in Perak, there were also some of our wakil rakyat, who could not ‘keep their houses clean’. They were marred with corruption charges barely a few months after GE12. With these ’skeletons’ in their closet – they soon found themselves at the mercy of the gigantic BN. After their ‘disappearing act’ at beginning of this year, they reappeared as independent BN-friendly reps, which eventually led to the fall of Perak. As for their charges, they were never heard of again.
As for the leaders in East Malaysia – they are still in hunger of power, which has been denied of them by BN all these years. Sadly, when PR extended a helping hand – they accepted with much reluctant. In their mind – they are still a ’separate nation’ from Peninsular Malaysia. Therefore, any leaders appointed from peninsular will be regarded as an ‘invasion’ to their states. However, although my words are harsh on East Malaysia leaders, but going back to the agreement reached at the time of Malaysia formation, I can actually understand why they feel as they feel. There are certain clauses in that agreement, which puts East & Peninsular Malaysia legally apart. I am all in to extend whatever help we can give to the people in East Malaysia, without compromising their need to self-govern. I trust DSAI will be able to maneuver us through this.
Once again, I strongly feel that it is high time for our leaders to be given a wake up call. All party members (especially its leaders) must support the reform agenda. Work for the party or face the possibility of being sacked. Just like an actual tsunami, GE12 have forever changed the political landscape in Malaysia. But that was just the beginning as we move forward in our route to Putrajaya!!

Salam DSAI,

Bersatu Teguh, bercerai roboh. Kita doakan satu hari nanti segala akan jadi benar. Kita berilah sokongan kpd semua pemimpin PR yg cekap dan beeramanah untuk memimpin Malaysia kearah satu masyarakat yg bersih dan maju.

PAS Hasan Ali has done irreversible damaged to PR.
PAS Nik Aziz may not live long. He is too weak to help.
PAS Hadi Awang wanted to be PM.
PAS has no guts to clean up pro-Umno leaders in PAS.
PAS still cannot accept multi-racial Malaysia.
PAS will need many decades again to gain trust.
Lastly, we don’t trust Hadi Awang.
Dropping PAS may be the quick solution to solve PR declining popularity.
Invite good PAS leaders to join PKR instead.
DSAI, you can’t afford to be soft! Be stern. People do not want to see a soft school headmaster either.
DSAI, you can’t afford two GE. GE13 is your only chance.

DSAI,
It is about time! When the next round of elections come, please decide carefully on your choice of candidates, do a thorough background check. When you eventually come to power please don’t waste time in Parliament and State Legislative Meetings to criticise the previous government. We all know how corrupt, evil and racist they are, and that’s why we voted for PR! Instead, get on with the work of serving the rakyat, that is your priority!
I believe many Malaysians are sick and tired of the those in PR who are ‘jumping about’. Some people have a price and if indeed they do, please show them the door. I admit that good candidates are hard to find but it’s well worth it to think and act carefully!
