Dear all,
There will be a youth event organised Youth For Change which is supported by the State Government at One Utama this Saturday. It’s an all-day voter registration drive with live music, film screenings and more. So, if you know anyone who has yet to register to vote, there is no better time than this Saturday. If not, you can come and enjoy the music!
Registering to vote is an important step to entering adulthood and taking responsibility for the society in which we live in. Unfortunately, voter registration is usually a dull and boring affair, making it easier for the young to brush their duty aside.
The Youth For Change Carnival aims to change that. With performances by top Malaysian independent musicians such as Bittersweet, Couple, Seven Collar T-Shirt, Liyana Fizi, Robot Asmara, Reza Salleh, Ika and many more, the Youth For Change Carnival aims to draw in thousands of youths from around the Klang Valley. At the carnival, those who have yet to register to vote will be able to do so easily at attractively designed booths, while standing a chance to win numerous prizes as well as freebies.
In addition to live music, the Youth For Change Carnival will also feature a mini flea market showcasing creative fashion and art by young designers. As part of the day’s festivities, short films made by young Malaysian filmmakers will be screened, including the popular 15Malaysia shorts that have been a hit on the Internet. Popular young actors, musicians, artists and bloggers will also be meeting their fans at the carnival.
Above all, the aim of the Youth For Change Carnival is to bring the young people of the Klang Valley together to enjoy fun, healthy and creative day that will also leave them empowered. The purpose might be to attract the young to register to vote, but we plan to do it with music, movies and fashion, not politics.
Admission is free, all are welcome!
Side Attractions:
- 15Malaysia Short Film Screening
- Creative Mart
- Art Exhibition
- Lucky Draw

Syabas, moga berjaya!

The more Young people can Vote will be advantage to PR as most older Voter only know of BN and most are pro Govn until recent GE12 and the birth of 2 party system…(Have the choice now) !
The young people will vote for merits, freedom and fairness…vote for the Govn who can fulfil and provide the inspiration for Live…unlike old day where information are only thru the Corrupted News Paper that Pro Govn.
