Jejak Razak Yang Tidak Terpenuhi

From South China Morning Post

June 2 – Officials and the media are giving great significance to Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak’s four-day official visit to China from today, comparing it to his father’s trip in 1974.

Abdul Razak was the first non-aligned Asian leader to embrace Mao Zedong . He was given a hero’s welcome at home, even by local Chinese who were angry with him after Malay soldiers killed Chinese civilians during race riots in 1969.

Similarly, Najib, who became prime minister on April 3, is banking on his visit, made on the 35th anniversary of his father’s trip, to win back local Chinese who have deserted his National Front coalition for the alliance led by rival Anwar Ibrahim.

Even Chinese embassy officials emphasised the significance of the son following the father, something they say enhances trade and economic ties and helps local Chinese progress.

The government has also trooped out diplomats, academics, professionals and business and community leaders to emphasise the significance of Najib’s visit and praise Malaysia’s closeness to China.

The New Straits Times has given extensive coverage to Abdul’s 1974 visit and reminded the public the son is following in the father’s footsteps. National television is constantly showing images of Razak shaking hands with Mao.

The highlight of Najib’s visit is his meeting with Premier Wen Jiabao tomorrow.

Malaysian-Chinese support for the government has plummeted to 35 per cent from a high of 70 per cent in 2004. Perceived official arrogance towards minorities and anti-Chinese remarks by Malay leaders are blamed for the fall, along with failure to abolish pro-Malay economic policies.

To atone, Najib is wooing Chinese, promising them equality and justice under his “1Malaysia concept” and has even shown willingness to dismantle pro-Malay policies.

His trip is a major opportunity for him to reassure local Chinese that he is “accepted and endorsed” by Beijing, burnishing an image battered by numerous controversies.

“He hopes to win acceptance by playing the China card with local Chinese,” said political analyst Khoo Kay Peng. “It worked for Razak but will not for Najib.” Khoo said, pointing out that China is no longer such a mystery.

“Malaysians know China well. They travel to China often. Chinese visit Malaysia often. The old magic is just not there any more.”

Veteran opposition lawmaker Lim Kit Siang agreed, saying Najib would do better by dismantling pro-Malay policies, and promoting human rights.

“Not just Chinese but all Malaysian races desire reform and change,” Lim said. “As Malaysians, we Chinese don’t hold China in great awe any more.” – South China Morning Post

The moron is trying to twist around. Nobody wants to believe in this half-past-six PM who will always hide behind anything to cover his weaknesses.
Bukan “jejak Razak yang tidak terpenuhi” tetapi “jejak Najib yang kelabu dan terus di kelabui”.
The only way out for this PM is not trying to revive his father legacy if any but to clear his tainted image as soon as possible and call for a snap election.
UMNO/BN tak perlu takut sekiranya mereka benar. Najib tak perlu gentar sekira nya rakyat menerima policy 1Malaysia, performance now, people first or is he forever cakap tak serupa bikin and just to remind him that time and history will not only judge him but will also punish him.
Ayuh rakyat Malaysia teruskan perjuangan untuk perubahan.

I don’t understand iMalaysia concept. Why are we relating PM’s visit to China to Malaysian Chinese.

Should PM visit Tamil Nadu India so that Malaysian Indians will be happy? Can we ask him to visit Indonesia so that Malays will be happy too…

What is 1Malaysia concept than, when we continue to remind non Malays their origin, and fail to instill patriotism toward our beloved nation.

By visiting China Malaysians will not vote for BN. Treat us all as Malaysian as one race… just like how Singaporeans call themselves Singaporeans and not MALAYS, CHINESE, INDIANS…. just like how Americans are so proud to be known as Americans. Every citizen of this country should be proud to be known as Malaysian.

    Dear friends,

Please study real hard the history of our country before and after independence especially the social contract among all races as constituited in our national constituition.

What has been happening now is this. People are talking about corruption, abuse of power, cronism and nepotism and other matters that almost everyone knows what are they! Its either the present government clears these up or let it be! Only time will tell till the next election. Voting power is in the hand of the people. The rakyat must evaluate carefully either BN ot Pakatan Rakyat must rule after the next election! As it is, the rakyat have voted majorityly to BN and be it! Future election, rakyat must vote carefully.

Social contract is a very separate issue and please do not be confused about these.

Really annoying. ( but the best thing is, the media especially TV3 is the main cause of BN lose their 2/3 majority in Parliament)

As yesterday, malaysians shocked by the Terengganu Stadium collapse. This really shows that something is not right in the process. Especially after BN took over Terengganu under Idris Jusoh.

hidopANWAR! Pendapat kamu ada pro dan kontra. Sebagai perihatin ambil contoh Indonesia. Selepas Presiden Suharto dijatuhkan, beberapa Presiden dilantik seperti Megawati, Habibi, Gusdur dan Susilo tetapi kepimpinan Suharto membawa Indonesia lebih makmur (fakta selama 32 tahun perintah Indonesia) sungguhpun ada bantahan mengatakan beliau diktator dan kronisma.Lihat sekarang bagaimana Indonesia selepas Suharto.
Di Malaysia selepas Tun Dr Mahathir dilantik Tun Abdullah jadi PM pun rakyat kata tak bagus dan diganti YAB DS Mohd Najib. Baru sahaja dilantik beberapa hari pun rakyat cakap macam2 belum lagi dapat berkhidmat setahun. Lihat sekarang bagaimana Malaysia selepas Tun Dr Mahathir.

Yes me and most of the Rakyat will evaluate and support whatever the policies (which is we think good for country) that government implement for the improvement. Yet what he been doing is not to gain the trust of people and make the racism gone, but he even provoking the sentiment on and on.

We respect the social contract and will follow whatever resolution been made, but the ACT still being abuse by BN. Anyway Najib is free to visit any country in this world. But please and please do not show it over and over on the TV. It is irritating.

What is the similarity between Najib and Tun Razak? None. Anyway i am still waiting for his marvelous decision on how to improve the malaysia economic, bring down the rating of corruption and let the police be more independent. Clock is clicking, Solve the struggle in Perak and show the integrity.

I knew, that you are not in favor to any other side. That is good, PR or BN they are almost the same but the only thing the differences is BN is to comfort until they think whatever they did Rakyat will agree 100%. Now even most of by election shows the mind of rakyat has change, but BN still on denying. They always blame rakyat that we been manipulate by PR. Whenever we did any wrongdoing we say sorry and will be forgiven, but this will not happen in BN.

The real point that I want to stress here is that the RAKYATS MUST BE POLITICALLY MATURED TO EVALUATE WHAT IS REALLY GOOD FOR THE PEOPLE THAT THESE GIGANTIC COALITION OF BN OR PAKATAN RAKYAT HAVE TO BRING!

Back in the rakyat minds must be to support which coalition that really bring GOOD AND NOT EVILS to the people! Rakyats must hate corruption in whatever forms, abuse of power right from the top to bottom, cronism and nepotism! These must be the foundations of the rakyat voting decision.

Rakyats are the best judge and all rakyats must execute good judgement in the voting poll!

I am attacking the rakyats that have chosen bad leaders!

Rakyats must do a lot and lots of homework before casting their votes! We cannot blame the wrongdoings of the politicians alone but we rakyats must bear also the blame for wrongly choosing them.

Yes, rakyats make mistakes but make sure throw these bad leaders out in the next elections! This can serve a good lesson for bad leaders! Wipe the smile on their faces in the whatever incomg elections be it by elections or general elections!

Hmm..Did all of us treated equally? Previously, I sent my resume to Petronas for getting Marketing job..but unfortuantely, no reply till the 11th times I called up and they said Petronas is meant ofr Bumiputra…What is the meaning of Bumiputra? It means aborigine and those who are original here..Chines, Malay, Indian, Portugese, Sikh and others are not the Bumiputra except the Orang Asli..In order to compete in this Global Era, we need to stand on our own feet not just depend on the Government’s help… Talk about PM’s visit, hmmm..no comment..but why still want to meet the Chinese Leader as claimed that Malaysian Chinese is useless and as Pendatang???? If Chinese from around the world get together…I think USA also cant compete…Government should give chance to all as One Malaysia concept..Dont just say to impress..Action is more louder than words…

    My dear Stanley

Please read carefully what is contained in the Dasar Ekonomi Baru introduced by the government. Understand the policy real hard ok.

The Policy was good and agreed by all the component parties of the then STRONG BN! Pakatan Rakyat was not born during that time…….the only pembakangs are PAS and DAP in small minority in the parliament and they are not united as it is today! They can shout out loud but with 2/3 majority of the BN in the parliemnent, their loud shouts were no where!

What we rakyat are facing today is the wrongdoings of the implementation of the policy, the result of which is corruption in many forms, abuse of power in many levels from the top to bottom, cronism and nepotism. These misbehaviour tarnishes the true objectives of the DEB!

So what we as rakyat should do now is to undertand well the goods and bads of the struggles and achievments of either BN or Pakatan Rakyat.

Rakyat must read and listen a lot! Mainstream media like TVs and newspapers are mainly pro one side! So, we must also read the opposition media like Suara Keadilan,Harakah and from blogs! Best things are to attend their ceramahs or political talks!

Any wrongdoings of the politicians, dont blame them! Blame us the mojority rakyats that have choosen them! The rakyats in West Malaysia are now beginning to be more matured and professional in evaluating BN or Pakatan Rakyat BUT my main concern are our friends in Sabah and Serawak! They need more education on political awareness!

Sure a very strong opposition from Pakatan Rakyat in the parliament today is a bessings to all rakyats because they have denied BN its 2/3 majority voice!

Now its up to us rakyats to really decide well for the coming general elections.
We must be politically matured to evaluate which pakatan is better. BN or Pakatan Rakyat or maybe third coalition that might be formed (u never know this can happen).

Whatever the pakatans, the bottomline is simple!

Good governance to eradicate COMPLETELY corruption in whatever forms, abuse of power right from the top to bottom, cronism, nepotism and above all good management of the Nations economy and wealth that makes the prosperity of the people FIRST and not non beneficial or profitable projects to the people!

Be patient my friend stanley. let the politicians from both sides BN and Pakatan Rakyat show their worth to the people. We are the judge ok! We vote BN or Pakatan Rakyat! So use our vote the right way! BN have to prove under our new PM, Pakatan Rakyat have to prove in the states they control. We will have enough facts to base our vote to which coalition ok! IF both of them are hopeless, we create a third coalition and vote for this newcomer!

    Adios my friend……….

Close case about this Chin Peng ok! He has survived in foreign land for so long! Why cant we leave him alone in peace! If Chin Peng is really a good person, he create peace and voice his ideas in political party and not through force!

    Adios…………..

You meant we should practise double standard to our enemy that had invaded our nation? Do you agree that we should also stop leaders from Britain, Netherland and Protugal to visit our country because they had also killed number of Malaysians before!

    rithysum8888,

najis went to China to borrow money, to beg them to build the 3rd link to s’pore, to beg them to help pave back his relationship with the monggolians and lastly to supply more chinadolls to his cronies.

did you forget that najis wanted to bathe his keris with chinese blood in 1987?

u think the komunis Chinese trust him?

    To all my friend,

For 52 years we had declared independent. So many struggle we had face and fight, war, idealism, racism, recession and other ism that i can’t elaborate more. Malays Chinese Indian and all the races in Malaysia had fought just to have the stability of our Malaysia. We shows the unity we shows the tolerance, so why can’t we show more?

Friends, forget about PKM (Chin Peng), forget about May 13th, all of this thing is just a provocation by BN, racism is the most champion issue by BN. We learn history as to learn the morale and we begin to run and race to achieve the awakening soul of Malaysia. The most beautiful country, where we had a high ranking of tolerance between the races, and we can say we are the only country had the most race in the world so why not we just continue for whatever achievement we had made? Deny and oust the government who always talk about racism.

The 13th election is way to come and both giant had to perform well in order to have the Rakyat vote, Selangor has shows the ability to be a friendly and transparent government, and this is what the rakyat want. Not only the free 20 cubic ltr of water but as a single mother my mom been insured without paying a single cent, and the most good thing is we had moved and stayed in this present house since 1988 but it’s only last year the road been tar, and yet more is coming. What Khir Toyo did? Nothing but building his wealthiness.

Anyway choice is in our hand. Salam.
