KOTA BAHARU, March 24 – Pas spiritual adviser Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat has given his blessing for former Perak menteri besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin to contest in the April 7 Bukit Gantang by-election.
He said Nizar who is the party’s deputy commissioner for the state was the right candidate to face Barisan Nasional in the constituency.
“I have contacted Nizar and bless his nomination to contest,” he told reporters after receiving a visit from Indian High Commissioner to Malaysia Ashok K. Kantha at his office here today.
Nik Aziz who is Kelantan Menteri Besar said last month that he could not agree to the suggestion that Nizar be fielded in the Bukit Gantang by-election since the Pas and its opposition allies still regarded Nizar as Perak Menteri Besar.
Meanwhile, he said he was disappointed over the Home Ministry’s decision to suspend the publishing permits of Harakah and Suara Keadilan, the party organs for Pas and Parti Keadilan Rakyat, for three months.
He said the suspension was undemocratic and aimed at stifling the influence of both parties in three simultenous by-elections — Bukit Gantang (Perak), Bukit Selambau (Kedah) and Batang Air (Sarawak). – Bernama

Appreciate very much that To guru has given consent for Datuk Seri Nizar to contest in Bukit Gantang . We need more people like Datk Seri to come foward and bring up the injustice done to the rakyat.Also, it is my hope that PKR in Kedah unite and lets face our common foe, the BN ,which claims that it only can develop the country.People have got to understand that even now Selangor is doing much better than what Umno had been doing sice indepedence.Keep up the good work Tan Sri Khalid.

tuan guru bukan tak suka pada yb nizar, tp die takut yb nizar tak dapat pikul terlampau byk amanah..sebab amanah akan dipersoalkan semula dihari kemudian.
tp insya allah, mudah2an yb nizar boleh pikul tanggungjawab yg semakin byk ni.

It is interesting to know where in the Federal gomen the Right Honorable Tok Guru Nik Azizz Nik Mat will best serve not only Malaysia but the Muslim Ummah, more over Humanity. May Allah grant this upright and principle PERSON life long enough to usher in Malaysia’s new era, as we anticipate the backs of Malaysia’s worst blunder.

Thank you Nik Aziz for supporting the choice of Nizar. I feel it’s very important as it’s gonna be an out right referendum to let not only najib but also THE PEOPLE who doubted what the RAKYAT PERAK wanted. (I, a lay man will be there to give my time an effort to help PR)

YAB Ir Nizar adalah icon PR sekarang.Tuan Guru DNA mesti setuju DS calon kerana beliau adalah pemimpin besar ‘versetile’ yang berketrampilan dan kebolehannya, kehebatannya bukan sahaja dalam bidang kejuruteraan tetapi juga dalam bidang agama,tidak jumpa pemimpin macam ini dalam UMNO dan menjadi aset kepada PR terutama PAS.DS Nizar adalah pemimpin alternatif selepas DSAI dan wajar berada dalam Parlimen untuk menggegarkan lagi Dewan Parlimen.

open minded, bila masa orang cakap psal Nik Aziz tu umpama Allah? Ni le masalahnya kalau ektrem membuta tuli, cakap orang semua dia nak putar belit, tapi nick name open minded, tak open minded langsung.Ada beza antara mengangungkan seseorang dengan taat pada pimpinan parti dan apa yg Mr VIP cakap ialah pencalonan nizar haruslah dianggap sebagai sebagai present dari Allah dan bukan nik aziz. Jangan pula nak hentam negeri orang kotor, kalau kita sendiri pun kotor minda dan busuk hati. Biar menulis tu bertanggung jawab sikit.
