An association of independent journalists based in Bangkok and coordinated by French Liberation correspondent, Arnaud Dubus, has set up a foundation to offer material support to the family of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu, killed in Malaysia in October 2006.
The Altantuya Foundation aims to bring concrete help to Mr Shaariibuu, the father of the deceased, and her two children, Altanshagai (five years old) and Mungunshagai (12 years old).
“When I met Shaariibuu in Ulan Bator in January, he told me he has not bought clothes for two years as he could not afford it. This sixty-year old man has to work on two different jobs, to be able to take care of his two orphaned grandchildren”, says Arnaud Dubus.
“I am a journalist, but I also have a heart. I could not help feel compassion for the Shaariibuu family”, he adds.
For transparency, the Foundation will be supervised by the Mongolian Embassy in Bangkok. All donations will be given to the Embassy, which will convey them directly to Mr Shaariibuu.
The first donor was Danthong Breen, well-known Thai human rights activist and Chairman of the Union for Civil Liberties. All donors will receive an official receipt. Small contributions (as well as bigger ones, but not too big please) are very much welcome, as any small amount can make a huge difference for the life of the Shaariibuu Family.
Foundation founders consider that it would be a wonderful gesture of human solidarity for people from different Nations, Asian and Western, to show their support for the family of this young interpreter savagely killed at the age of 28 years old.

It is more meaningful if any Malaysian form the foundation for the late Althantuya Shaaribuu in Malaysia. It will show the world that there are still kind heart Malaysian!
Please to those any Malaysian out there who has the abilities and experience to form the foundation, please, please and plesae take action!
It is the correct way we Malaysian say sorry to Mr. Shaaribuu and late Althantuya also helping her children (look at those late Althantuya sons pictures!)

Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, wife of Malaysia’s next prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, said today it is his destiny to lead the country, despite opposition attempts to link him to corruption and murder.
In an interview with The Associated Press, Rosmah said the attacks on her husband have made the couple more mature and stronger.
“Let’s not do anything unethical to stop it. It is his turn,” Rosmah said in her first interview with an international news agency.
If “God says it is his turn, it is his turn,” Rosmah added. “That is the thing we all have to accept, because when (Abdullah became leader) … we believed that it was his time, his destiny and we went on with our lives.”
From the above news report, you can convincingly say that Rosmah is such a loving wife of Najib. So, how not to protect her? Don’t you agree?

Since Altantuyah was murdered by the 2 UTK guys, the guilt and responsibility fall on the government of Malaysia. These men were supposed to protect the innocent, what more a foreigner who was a guest in our country. Unfortunately they betrayed the trust of the very people whom they were sworn to protect. The connivance of certain government officials in erasing the entry record of Altantuyah, letting off 1-2 key suspects from prosecution and keeping her family in the dark further made things worse. The least our government could do is to immediately issue a formal apology to Altantuyah’s family and work out a fair compensation for them since the deceased was the breadwinner for her family.

kadang-kadang saya naik muak dan benci dengan gelagat politik dimalaysia. Saya bertanya kepada diri saya sendiri, sampai bila bangsa melayu nak bercakaran sesama sendiri?. Bila difikirkan balik, timbul pula persoalan, Apasal bangsa melayu yang terlampau mengagong-agong umno ni?. Jawapan cukup mudah, yang dok pertahan umno hari ini adalah dari kalangan yang gila kuasa, dari kalangan kontraktor yang hendak habuan lumayan, berdamping rapat dengan pemimpin umno dapat duit mudah, tak payah keluar peluh, cakap saja berapa hendak?, tetapi ini semua telah berubah, melayu sekarang telah berpecah kepada beberapa bahagian, ada yang keadilan, ada yang pas. Bila dia terjadi begini?. Semua nya terjadi sejak tahun 1998 bilamana konspirasi politik melibatkan DSAI dengan TDM. Maka muncullah konsep macheivelli. Perkara tak ada sengaja diadakan. Sang penguasa menggunakan sepenuh-penuhnya khidmat PDRM, SPR, SPRM dan paling menonjol menguasai penerangan/media. Siapa yang ada didalam badan-badan ni, bukan kah bangsa melayu!. Jika dilihat hari ini, Amatlah malang sekali wahai bangsaku, kalau kita tidak bersatu sekarang, saya curiga sekali dengan apa yang saya lihat propaganda kominis yang bergiat aktif dalam tahun 60an/70an dan awal 80an. hi guys…..some of u are really eager to donate or to start a foundation for this girl…it is funny that you don’t even know who she is…..let’s look back….she was working as interpreter and ‘middle woman’ for some international deals as reports everywhere saying it. don’t u think she doesn’t have a single cent in her account! she maybe even richer than most of us……better keep your money and give to the people that really need it……don’t be stupid….there are a lot of people back home that really need our help….why we bother so much about her…….
