You can analayse which ever way you want to, but the truth of the matter is, anwar is the only "acceptable" choice in Malaysia as pm, who would be accepted even by umno, MCA, MIC members. DAP'S candidate will not be accepted by the malays, nor will PAS'S leaders be accepted by the malays and non malays, the hold the distinct record of being a totally useless opposition leaders after the 1999 elections. Their main focas was religion? No doubt PKR has many characters of dubious repute in them, carry over from umno, as shown by the sedekah chinese women incidents from perak and also the moron ZUL, (BTW put his candidacy up in Bandar kulim come next election, pkr will lose that seat). Anwar actually hold the glue to the PAKATAN RAKYAT PUZZLE, but his menteri besar khalid of Selangor has not shown enough grit and thoughness to handle the sabotage of umno state civil servants. AS per compared to nik aziz, guen eng and nizhar of Perak. mb Khalid is seen to be the week link in all these MAIN M BESARS, so he has to pull up his socks and get tough with the civil servants. There is a lot of sabotage, go slow, not listening to instructions and state directives from the local council heads, WHERE IS THE LOCAL COUNCIL ELECTIONS? The declaration initiated by people's parliment, harris ibrahim and signed by all three parties seem to be conviniently ignored. Maybe we malaysians are expecting too much, too fast, to change an entranched system of corruption, instead of saying that the police does not want to take action on corruption cases, and cbt involving the BALKIS FUNDS,(btw whats happenning with that... no news) , the Pakatan states should implement their own state police and ACA. PUT SOME PEOPLE IN JAIL, OR SEE WHATEVER GAINS WON ON MARCH 8 DISSAPEAR COME NEXT ELECTION.

Datuk Seri Anwar is doubtless one of the major the catalyst for the series of happenings and changes in the political scene. He is the sodium-potassium that starts a reaction. At this moment, he has started a major political change movement of REFORMASI.

He probably is the gel that holds the component parties together BUT the component parties are without their stalwart leaders who are intelligent and highly-charged as well as in DAP and PAS. There are many leaders that have come to the fore and are now in the political scene because of Datuk Seri as the catalyst. If not, we would have the same brand of UMNO, MIC and MCA plus East Malaysian parties.

Now everything has changed and those who resist changes will die a dinosaurs death. Even Datuk Seri has changed and I think for the better. Whatever it is, Malaysia should rise up to be really world class nation in upholding the Federal Constitution etc and not world class in corruption, lack of transparency all of which my overseas friends will shake their heads and smirk. We love Malaysia and she deserves a good government. It may or may not be led by Datuk Seri Anwar but if he is the guy equipped as man of the hour, why not?
