In other words, eniugh Malaysians have finally awakened to the fact that the BN administration is infested with corrupt, self-serving & hypocritical specimens unfit to govern and unworthy of our trust. This is the most serious issue confronting us. No matter what the BN administration does or doesn't do, it has lost the support of thinking Malaysians, the more progressive and innovative segments of society. In denial since March 8th, 2008, the Umno-led BN has virtually declared war on the rakyat by intimidating, harassing & imprisoning (or attempting to imprison) our most popular leaders. Whatever measures the BN may take to cushion the impact of the global financial meltdown are most likely to encounter criticism, resistance & antagonism. The situation we're in may be compared to a boat that's sinking - the chances of a happy outcome decrease as internal tensions increase amongst the passengers. One faction is engaged in attempting to wrest the oars and rudder from the power-intoxicated BN, while the other is concentrating on trying to throw its detractors overboard instead of inviting them to work together and put their heads together on issues of national & international significance. Problem is, the Umno component of BN especially appears to be in a vengeful, vicious mood and are unlikely to opt to cooperate - even if that's the only behavior that can prevent the boat from capsizing and improve our cchances of surviving the raging storm at sea.
