Altantuya’s dad speaks: RPK shouldn’t be a victim of political (in)justice

By Susan Loone

Altantuya Shariibuu’s dad, Stev, has emailed me his statement (through his lawyer in Mongolia) regarding RPK’s trial and detention under the ISA. The image above is his own handwriting. The translation copy I receive in his mail says:

I understand, Mr. Raja Petra has good personal character and has a good reputation and runs humanitarian activity.

I understand that the below issues were directly connected with murder case of my daughter:

- Who did arrange visa issue for my daughter while she visited in French?
- Who was attending in the trip to French and what did they do?

If it could make clear those issues, they would understand every thing. Why is there so much force and influence in the case? Because there was a serious issue. Thus they destroyed my daughter.

Unfortunately, they pressed down Mr.Raja Petra’s statement. I think this issue needs to get attention from international human right organizations.

He (RPK) shouldn’t be a victim of politic for justice. It would be justice if they release Mr.Raja Petra.

As we are, all Mongolian worry for him and his justice, we lack of information on truth and situation.

Signed:

Mongolian citizen: Shaariibuu Setev
06.Oct.2008

I am also sending this information to my friends in the media and bloggers. Hope this letter can be distributed for RPK’s sake.

thank you dr.shariibuu and all Mongolian citizens, for this letter.

we Malaysians are sad and feel ashamed by this horrendous murder of Altantuya in our Country by some high status people in our Government. we, the Rakyat especially RPK and DSAI will fight to bring this shameful Government DOWN soon.

the thruth will prevail and we shall send you the good news soon.

    abu Reply:

Let’s no relay false hopes to him. Even though any of us cannot ensure good news will be heard anytime soon, make no mistake that each and every concern citizen of this beloved country of ours is doing our very best to right the wrongs done by those who abuse their power and positions. Dr. Shaaribuu, my heart as well as others are with you. Let us keep the wind of change blowing, the fire of reformation burning and most importantly, let us not lose hope. God willing, the time will come where those who suffer injustice will get their fair share of reckoning.

A foreign citizen is concerned for one of ours.Perhaps he knows too well the anguish of a lost life through the machinations of a regime?
Thank you Prof Shaaribuu for your thoughtfulness and concern. Somethings many here still have lack or indifference for.

Yes, RPK should not be a victim of injustice. I strongly urge you as the leader of PKR to come out and get your supporters to come out to protest this arrest. Of late, you have been pretty quiet in coming out and getting your supporters to do help RPK. He has done so much for you and PKR and the people are pretty upset that you are not as vocal as you should be for him. We don’t see you there showing support like DAP at the courtcase.

    Muhammad Reply:

    My Dear Mag M,

Sorry to say, alas why should you be so quick and jump to unwarranted conclusion regarding DSAI and his care and concern for all victims of injustice, all rakyat and RPK included. And then you “ungkit, ungkit” on DSAI for not returning in kind to those whom you said had sacrificed for him. I for one, as most Muslims do, don’t brag on kindness that have been rendered to anyone…do it for the sake of al-Mighty and earn and expect rewards accordingly from Him. Give away with the right hand while your left hand caught unaware, don’t even know it (Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him). And on showing support for RPK being there at the courthouse, knowing well that DSAI himself fully occupied with court cases at the same time and day, let me share with you this despite DSAI having his own predicaments:

9.50 pagi: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim kini dalam perjalanan ke Kompleks Mahkamah Jalan Duta daripada Mahkamah Sesyen Petaling Jaya untuk menemui Raja Petra Kamaruddin di sana. (source: Anwaribrahimblog.com earlier than your posting time).

I salute DSAI and i am sure our problems are always at his heart…definitely…definitely..Oh DSAI! may Allah ease your burdens and be you always come under His protection and care. Ameen.

A murder can occur in Malaysia involving characters of the highest office. Yet Malaysians can be fooled by dubious answers. When do we grow up? The standards set should be one that people at the highest office, should have total integrity. Nothing less. The events that have transpired shows that there are Malaysians quite blind to criminality and corruption. There should not be only a few people championing this noble cause.

    Bumi Ownz U Reply:

Its easy to bribe police in Malaysia.. just “settle” the bill by putting money in that leather notes holder and the policeman will just walk away….

From the lowest echelons of legal enforcement in Malaysian society to the highest… Malaysia is infested with rampant corruption damaging its creditbility and stability….

How can Malaysia progress to be first world with this still going on??????

Draconian laws protecting the reputations of guilty senior ministers will not be brushed under the carpet or locked away….

    Shobhan Reply:

Yes Frederick, men, women and all citizens of the legal age to vote, have to voice out and come out in droves to support a just cause. But most of us are too afraid to come out and voice for fear of untoward repercussions that will jeopardise their safety as well those of family and friends. People like RPK, Kickdefella, DSAI and the Hindraf who dare, are facing real odds while fighting the strong waves of protests from the iron fisted ruling party. So anyone championing any cause must be ready to face the music. Poor RPK, DSAI, Kickdefella and the Hindraf plus others before them should be given a fair trial before being thrown into prison. They are or were unjustly imprisoned for voicing out in the open about injustices in the country.

Good dad would do anything for his child. Hopefully the bloody murderer & people behind the scene will be punished heavily. Since there are so many theories, not wise to think who actually behind all this.

Ya Allah, please show us the real person behind the mask.

What can you do? Her body was blown up to discard of evidence.

The government has locked up a Raja Petra who was willing to speak out against the government and their connection with the case….

This is Malaysia…. Barisan Nasional are FASCIST NAZIS.

We need to fight for the cause… do not shut your mouths in fear people!

    Fight for what is Right!

Just wondering…..what if one of Malaysian girl killed in Mongolia or other countries..do you think their people care?

Do you think we care if Altantuya was just another prostitute killed by Mat Gian in Lorong Haji Taib?

    The Mind Reply:

    My Dear Anak kenyalang

Simple answer….the death is ‘related’ to the person who is going to be this nation’s next PM….and you dont care?

Mind you, there are already many murders, amid high profile ones that till today have not been settled. Remember, the engineer who was aquit of killing the lady..M/s Noreeta…Who actually killed her?…another Mat Gian?… Yes a Mat Gian of SEXXXX!

    Sincerely
    The Mind!

    Shobhan Reply:

Anak kenyalang, human life cannot be treated like that of an animal, say a dog or a cat. When you see a dead dog or cat on the road and compare it with a dead human on the road whom you don’t even know, the sentiments are different. Compare the dead girl Nurin, who was tortured and killed, did not you feel anything, though she weren’t your own child? Come on don’t talk nonsense.
Altantuya may or may not be a prostitute. But her death was torturous and she needs justice. Even Jesus hit at those who condemned a prostitute. I presume you must be a young man with little or no experience. The reason for your lack of wisdom!!!

Bertepuk sebelah tangan tidak akan berbunyi….
Well…like what that PKR people said…Sedekah Seks, Apa Salahnya?
Noreeta and that Altantuya was a High Profile XXX Killed by High Profile Person?
So what is the different with Low Profile Lorong Haji Taib XXX Killed by MAt Gian?

The perpetrators of the Altantunya murder had thought that Mongolians were docile. Actually their ancestors conquered, ruled and opened up half of the world. The same case is with the Japanese who now excel in every field in world development although they appear as docile as the Mongolians. If certain countries take the Altantunya case lightly, they could be assumed to be discriminating Mongolians. The best way to solve the Altantunya case is to bring it up to the World Court.

Spread this news all over the over!
If those alleged muderers attend overseas for International Summit, organise some Mongolians to hold protest with the picture of Altantuya to highlight this issue.
Let send those muderers to hell..!!

I know how painful it is to lose a grown up daughter. However bad she could have been in her life, she was still a ‘daughter’. A father knows how tough it is to bring her up; especially we Asians.

We, Asians, have high FAMILY values. We would NEVER want to hear BAD news about our daughters (children) which would be haunting us to the grave.

I salute Prof Shaariibuu for his courage in sending the above letter. I hope and pray the ghosts of Kubhlai Khan and Gengis Khan would come and haunt and attack the bloody murderers wife, daughters and all his female relatives.

I was wondering how a woman, who had been killed in Malaysia and who had apparently entered the country without the permission of the immigration! Was she kidnapped by well connected people or was she air-dropped?!

You can fool everyone but not HIM who’s watching from above! Be prepared because the worst IS going to befell upon you. The Shaariibuu family’s sorrows will NOT leave you in peace. Even if fails, your concience will KILL you. Remember that, I warn you bloody murderers. Your KARMA will FOLLOW your soul.

    Dear DSAI and all,

It must be truly sad for the father to 1) learned that his daughter got murdered, 2) got blown to pieces (pre- or post mortem?) 3) No real perpetrators 4) Justice serveis in SLO-MO 5) obscure path to justice and punishments. Although we can see and make indirect conclusion about who might be the evil doer, the link to that conclusion was made extremely difficult by the current incompetent government. I think its best to get the International Court in the picture. Invoke these powers, and let see AAB’s goverment flap.

    Dear DSAI ,

WE ,your supporters of yr superbly engineered political force as shown by the results of 8th March now await your next move . We are extremely anxious that the momentum being gathered within UMNO to push DPM to become the next PM ( who
with so much doubts on his past) will wane in some of us ; our strong desire to see you take over . Can you let us know how and when ? Four more years of despotism will be too much for this nation .
