Menjelang Eid ingatan kami sakeluarga tetap bersama Pet dan Marina sakeluarga. Malam tadi rakan-rakan berhimpun menunjuk rasa simpati sambil bencikan kezaliman.
Di Hong Kong Jumaat lalu, saya ulangi desakan tegas agar pemerintah segera membebaskan Pet tanpa syarat.
Pet dicurigai dan dibenci sang penguasa kerana keberaniannya mendedahkan rasuah dan jenayah. Dan diantara isu paling menyengat termasuk perisytiharan bersumpah Bala dan komisyen pembelian senjata yang melibatkan Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Najib. Walhasil, Pet menjadi mangsa!
Hentikan kezaliman, bebaskan semua tahanan ISA!

My dear Khalaai, are you suggesting that you and your Indians gang will then go back to elect BN and make them your leaders? Common Khalaai. I hope you are not a BN stooge. Blackmailing DSAI and Pakatan Rakyat leaders like this is terrible..and I hate this kind of mentality and sweeping statement. Why don’t you sit down with your Indian gangs and ponder all the circumstances surrounding it and check detail before saying what you have said.
Like to share with my reflections on prevailing Hindu temples built especially after Merdeka days: Mind you in Penang you could see all sizes of temples are built on Gov’t land; like around big trees, on drain reserve, on road reserve near hill slopes and even dangerous corners; they could have started with an old or middle aged Hindu; retired gov’t servant or a security guard (working with a Management company of a nearby flat/condo) manning the “temple” during his off time. And with donations from some towkay the temples keep expanding causing all sorts of problems to communities. People tolerated but there should be a limit. I am not bothered if temples are built on Hindus private “wakaf” land or land that has been allocated by gov’t as it should be perhaps, based on demand by a sizeable number of Hindus in a particular location. One could easily see a number of Hindus temples in nearby and competing with one another; alas frequented every now and then by people who are from outstation! Sometime it was organized to show-off the numbers! And because some Chinese who practice ancestral worships (not sure of Buddhists!) and belief in Karma also subscribe and seem to share worshiping the Hindu gods, most of the temples mentioned above are normally tolerated in their communities.
Sorry to say all these ; just to share my sentiments too. Need to stop BN’s way of managing religious communities and place of worships.

Well said Muhammad. Sdr Khalaai should be patient and wait for the investigation to find out what was really happened and who were the culprits. I am an Indian too but we can’t allow emotion to rule our intellect. Let us wait and see who is at fault. After that we can decide what course of action to take. Whoever at fault must be accounted for and punished.

It is very sad that the government of the day have to resort to this.
My symphaties is not particularly on the detainees, but more towards their innocent families particularly the Children.
Deep down in their heart, they must be very depressed as they have no answers to questions they have to face from their classmates and peers why their father is in detention.
Via the action of the government of the day, they have indeed denied a growing malaysian who may be our future leaders the privilege and joy of having their father grow up with them.
Going throught the list, I am not sure what sort of risk they pose to the Country as there do not seem to be any militants or high profile triad leaders amongst them. Those that are Triad Leaders are not put there (I assume).
As a matter of fact I have spoken to families of some of the detainees and what I think is these detainees pose no danger to the country, expect they have diffirent idealogy, thinking and beliefs.
As such base on that, I would say, this act which the government of the day have wrongly used should be reviewed if not repealed.
How else can we go about registering the rakyats strongest protest with huge International Audience.
A real concerted effort have to be made and in my honest opinion International Human Rights bodies will come in very strongly besides gaining wide spread symphaty by parading the oppressed families of the detainees.
I am also sure, inview of the racial composition of the detainees, more coverage must be extended to the Kampungs so that they are aware of the ills of the government of the day.
I would be happy to see more effort from PKR, especially the womans wing mobilise a strong rally involving the oppressed families.

What a lousy country we are living in.Charge RPK if he has committed an offence through the proper legal court.We are so lacked behind that we have no law that can take on him or send him to jail?

To syafiq and the rest of you who kept on saying and believing that RPK has ridiculed and insulted Islam, I would have to draw your attention to the artcles he had written. I do not know if you people had actually read those articles yourselves and thus drew your own conclusions from there or if your opinions are based on hearsay. The thing is, if you’ve really, I mean genuinely read the articles in Malaysia Today and understood the essence of those articles, you would in all honesty realise RPK had done no such thing, that is desecrate Islam. In fact, he has showm himself to be a true and exemplary Muslim and his criticisms were only aimed at those who profess themselves to be Muslims but do not practise the real values and principles of Islam. I believe you would agree with me that criticising Muslims and criticising Islam are two very, very different issues altogether. Muslims are people and by just professing your faith to be Islam does not make you good people. You have to be seen to be so through your actions and your deeds. But of course if he had criticise Islam, the religion, then that would be inexcusable and blasphemous but HE HAS NOT, period. So, if you’re good and genuine Muslims, stop accusing him for a start. Look into yourselves and ask rationally, have you been fair to this man? I believe fairness and justice is a universal principle that Islam and all religious faith, for that matter, would like to uphold, but HAVE WE DONE THAT? Salam

Initially my thought was that the ISA should be maintained as you can use it for detaining terrorists/communist. Terrorism is catching-up all over the world, ours not excluded, although not in an alarming stage. Safety of the country shouldn’t be compromised. But looking at how the ISA has been used all these years and all for the wrong reasons, maintaing it will be blatantly wrong, as it will only further allow them to continue doing the wrong things, as long as BN is in power. I hope when the change of the government happens, they will not abuse their power given to them, and not use ISA for political or personal reasons. Even a 2 year old knows that, the detention of RPK, it’s a more of a personal vendetta of Syed Hamid and Najib.
Dear Dato Seri Anwar, we will be patient with the take over of PR to be the next government. I trust you know what you’re doing, and waiting for the right move. But please not too long, sometime in October or this year will be good. The country is currently being run by imbeciles, who knows nothing about management and human rights (or at least citizen rights).

The current count of signatures supporting the petition to release RPK and abolish ISA stands at 35254. It’s a little slow, most probably a lot more people do not know about it but if once the word is out, 150,000 is not difficult to achieve. Are you so gullible as to believe what the officer said? Of course there is response and 35254 signatures are a substantial number though of course it would be great if there could be more.

Bertahun-tahun Anwar dalam kerajaan BN. Pernah dia cakap apa-apa tentang ISA? Tapi sekarang konon mahu jadi juara mahu melupuskan ISA.
Anwar menjadi ketua petualang politik yang mencantas kebangkitan reformasi politik tempatan Sabah sekitar pertengahan dekad 80-an dan awal 90-an. Tapi sekarang konon mahu jadi lidah pejuang kepentingan penduduk Sabah.
Sebagai (mantan) Menteri Pendidikan Malaysia suatu masa dulu, (menggunakan pengalamannya sebagai bekas aktivis siswa yang ekstrim) Anwar menjadi perancang strategi utama untuk melumpuhkan gerakan idealisme siswa di IPT tempatan (khususnya UM, menerusi parti pimpinan pelajar tajaan dan asuhannya — Barisan Mahasiswa Bersatu). Tapi sekarang konon mahu jadi jaguh pendokong aspirasi anak-anak muda Malaysia.
Kenapa selepas kehilangan kuasa diri dan tidak lagi relevan kepada arahtuju kepimpinan negara — baru terhegeh-hegeh mahu memperjuangkan sesuatu yang pernah ditikam dan dipijaknya sendiri berkali-kali (suatu masa dulu)?
Kalau betul PKR semakin mendapat sokongan rakyat (dan, kemenangan sipi-sipi PKR pada Mac lalu bukan kerana ‘undi protes’) — maka, kenapa tidak bersabar menunggu pilihanraya akan datang? Sikap tamak Anwar yang gelojoh mahu jadi PM menerusi pintu belakang, kemudian berbohong berkali-kali di depan jutaan rakyat jelata kononnya akan mengambil-alih kerajaan — telah menjatuhkan kredibiliti Anwar secara signifikan.
Sebelum spekulasi kempen 1609 yang berciri ‘ala-ala-budak-menjerit-kerana-serigala-nak-datang’, daripada 10 mahasiswa IPT awam: 3 menyokong PR (dan benci BN), 3 simpati pada PR (dan benci BN), 2 berkecuali, dan 2 sokong dan/atau simpati pada BN (dan benci PR). ala ini biasa ….. kalau jenis dah gopoh nak buat cam ner… lagipun apa agenda anuar nak jadi PM … nak tukar semua system yang dia sendiri buat dan ikut dulu…. aku pun tak faham kenapa orang taksub denga dia nie…. bersekongkol dengan bangsa lain, kuasa luar dan sanggup menjual bangsa sendiri semata mata nak jadi PM…. apa benda la
