Questioning the timing of the swearing on the Quran by his accuser - on the eve of nomination day for the Permatang Pauh by-election - candidate Anwar Ibrahim was hardly amused.
When told Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan had swore on the Quran in the Federal Territory Mosque that he was sodomised by the opposition leader, Anwar replied: “This is just a political gimmick.”
“One day after the Election Commission announced the date for the Permatang Pauh by-election they charged me.
“Now, on the eve of nominations, this guy is swearing on the Quran. What is the motive for all this?” exclaimed the politician, who will be contesting in the polls.
According to Anwar, this is nothing more than a “dirty trick” by Umno and goes to show that they are desperate.
He said if Saiful wants to adopt the Islamic method then he should follow the syariah way and make his complain there instead of going to the police.
“I too have already referred this case to the Syariah Court and the officers there want to take his statement but the police have stopped them.
“Saiful is under police protection and they have a hold on him and they decide what he should or should not do,” said the former deputy prime minister.
Saiful’s bombshell
This evening, Saiful dropped a bombshell on his former employer when he surprised everyone by taking a religious oath.
After declaring the authenticity of his allegations in the mosque, the former PKR volunteer proceeded to give his first press conference in a hotel at Jalan Ipoh.

He also said it was a coincidence that he was making this revelations one day before the nominations for the by-election.
The EC announced on Aug 6 that nominations for the Permatang Pauh by-election would be held tomorrow.
A day after the announcement, Anwar was charged in the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court for having carnal intercourse against the order of nature.
The opposition leader has consistently claimed that the allegation is false and accused his rivals of hatching a conspiracy to stop him from reigniting his political career after a 10-year hiatus.
However, government leaders have dismissed this charge.

Jangan terpedaya dengan helah mereka. Mereka sengaja mencabar DS agar bersumpah kerana ada motif disebaliknya. Mungkin ada niat jahat yg telah disusun secara rapi untuk mengenakan DS seperti kemalangan terancang dan sebagainya selepas sahaja DS bersumpah. Secara tidak langsung kecelakaan DS dilihat sebagai balasan sumpah dan menutup segala konpirasi jahat mereka. Masyarakat juga akan senyap dan hilang kepercayaan. Sebab itu sebilangan ulamak tidak menganjurkan bersumpah ada hikmah disebaliknya.

“And do not plead on behalf of those who act unfaithfully to their souls; surely Allah does not love him who is treacherous, sinful.
They may hide (Their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (Them) from Allah, seeing that He is in their midst when they plot by night, in words that He cannot approve: And Allah Doth compass round all that they do.
Ah! These are the sort of men on whose behalf ye may contend in this world; but who will contend with Allah on their behalf on the Day of Judgment, or who will carry their affairs through?
But if any one earns a fault or a sin and throws it on to one that is innocent, He carries (on himself) (Both) a falsehood and a flagrant sin.” (Quran 4: 107-8, 9, 10, 12)
Saiful has thrown cautioned to the wind. Swearing is damn serious business for a muslim more so on the holy quran. Unless he cares less the wrath of god for worldly material gain , he is convinced he is uttering blatant truth. He has brought the ball game to a different playing field for it directly involves god now.
My observation and comments:
Saiful: I feel that the time is right for me to do my duty as a Muslim and Malaysian by doing what is right.”
Me: I ponder, He said he felt today was the right time to do his duty as a Muslim after 2 months by doing what is right? So, what was right thing to do? Swear on the Quran was the right thing to do? I do agree. But then, would it be taken to mean that the earlier meeting with Najib, Dr Mohamed and negotiating with a police officer and ultimately making a police report was in itself never the right thing? If he wants to do his duty he should in the first place had sworn by the Quran and thereon leave it to Allah to punish Anwar. But he is so passionate to want so much publicity and gaining compassion. By his own words, “it is between him and anwar and Allah”; if that is so, then why he wants so much publicity to proof that his arse was on the line of fire? I am puzzled and perplexed!
Saiful: “He swore in the name of Allah and in accordance to the teachings of Islam and as advised by religious scholars and teachers that I was sodomised by Anwar Ibrahim.”
Me: There seems to be a catch - did he say that he was advised by religious scholars and teachers that he was sodomized by Anwar? He was advised to swear that he was sodomized? Or he was advised that he need to swear? And he said it was done in accordance with the teaching of Islam? Tell me in which Surah gave such teachings on swearing? I have not found a phrase in the Quran pertaining to swearing as an victim; the victim was suppose to get the necessary witnesses as espoused; that’s the rule of syariah.
Saiful: “I’ve taken this oath to prove that my allegations are completely true. Allah is the only place where I can complain to.”
Me: If Allah is the ONLY place to complain, then why did he go everywhere, including to Najib to complain. Najib is not Allah! And he don’t have to take an oath to prove that his allegation is completely true. If the sodomy is true, Allah surely knows; the Quran said Allah knows everything; so you don’t need to prove to Allah that you did not lie. If you believe in Allah, you must also believed that Allah is all knowing and Allah is omnipotent and omnipresent.
Saiful: “I’ve done this for God … and I do not wish to lie to the world as he [Anwar] has done.”
Me: Ehm!!! You did this for God? Oh my God! You can’t be doing this for God; you are doing this for yourself and to convinced us human beings that you did not lie; you don’t do this swearing for God and God do not need you to do this for Him.
Saiful: “I’ve not been hiding but I was quietly gathering enough courage to answer all the allegations against me, especially by Anwar Ibrahim. It needs mental and spiritual strength as taking an oath is not something trivial or easy. The consequences can be very dire in the eyes of God. Nevertheless, Allah has given me the strength to take the oath today.”
Me: Why do he need mental and spiritual courage to tell God? If you believed that God is all knowing, it must mean that He already knows whether you tell Him or not. Of course the consequences of falsely swearing to God is dire in the eyes of God. But if the sodomy was a factual act committed, he never need to fear about telling this truth to God because he already knows that God knows of what had happened to his arse. I don’t need strength to tell God because I know that God is omnipotent and omnipresent irrespective whether I tell Him or not.
Saiful: “This is not a political matter, it is a private matter between me and Anwar Ibrahim.”
Me: This certainly is a private matter between 2 person and God alone. Saiful is right on this. But then he chose to go to Najib for advice; Najib was the first to know. After that, he then went to some specific police officer for advice at a hotel room to discuss the sodomy; thereafter, he went to so Dr Mohamed and then to HKL before he went to make a police report. By involving so many parties it was no more a private matter; it has become a public issue.
It must have been a great courage for him to come out now to meet the press after the swearing. The swearing was suppose to be a private matter; but he went to the press to pronounce the swearing for reasons known only to himself and his lawyer.
NB:
Anyway, in order to shut them up and stop their evil schemes and plots, I appeal to you to swear and lets move on. I have no doubt in your innocence but as Prophet Ibrahim (AS) said unto His Lord, “to satisfy my own understanding”. This will help clear the air and steal the thunder from these evil oriented, uncouth and nefarious, wicked hearted AMENO people.
“When Abraham said: “Show me, Lord, how You will raise the dead, ” He replied: “Have you no faith?” He said “Yes, but just to reassure my heart.” Allah said, “Take four birds, draw them to you, and cut their bodies to pieces. The govt continues to insult our intelligence through their running dog Saiful in saying that his move to swear on the Koran was not coincidental. Even the most stupid fool will not believe him and say that he is an incorrigible liar!

To say that he has “gathered courage” after 2 months while all along he was taunting Anwar and flashing victory signs at the media camera is quite cheap and shows the stupidity of the forces who are behind him. Evil is their thought! Did it take two months for him to gather courage while all along he was blogging about anything he could imagine about his relations with Anwar and PKR? Hogwash!
DSAI, I’m appealing to you to proceed to any Penang Mosque where there is an Islamic Authority and swear by Allah SW. Note that when one swears, the other has no option. Don’t give them any rope to hang you. While Malaysians have total faith in you, the only remaining option to close this chapter is to swear tomorrow insha’Allah and that’s will be over. Swearing by hypocrites exsisted in the time of the Prophet SAW and therefore while it is normal for today’s hypocrites to continue with their tradition and use God’s name for evil purposes, the innocent too have to seek God’s refuge. Swearing is too strong for Malays and definately as PR supporters, we call upon you to shut the door on the evil ones and finish it once and for all. If that doesn’t happen, ARM-NO and its evil apparatus will harp on this and try to poison the minds of Muslims. So, tomorrow, close this chapter.
Angkat sumpah hanya cara umno memberhentikan langkah-langkah pembangkang esok, kehadapan. Mereka mengetahui jika angkat sumpah secara islam dijalankan, dengan itu DAP tidak boleh menyoal dalam kes ini kerana ianya akan membawa tangapan DAP cuba membangkitkan isu perkauman - soal agama lagi-lagi kes terbaru melibatkan majlis peguam, dan ini boleh menyusutkan undi di Permatang Pauh. DSAI tak perlu terikut-ikut bersumpah melayan si syait-pol. Bukankah ulama’ ada bercerita tentang kisah syaitan versus Nabi Adam dan Ibu Hawa? Apakah contoh riwayat itu diabaikan begitu sahaja? Ketika syaitan gagal membujuk Nabi Adam agar memakan buah kuldi, maka dia bersumpah palsu dengan menyebut asma Allah di hadapan Ibu Hawa, bahawa buah kuldi itu bukan terlarang @boleh dimakan. Sumpah-sumpah begitu talak guna-lah! Bersepar-separ sampah n sumpah palsu. Tentang jatuhnya laknat Allah, itu juga tidak selalu Allah swt jatuhkan di dunia, tapi di akhirat itu phasti,fasti,pasti. Well, it is is an issue and I want to call upon DSAI to swear tomorrow. I’m begging him not to give them any hope of mudslinging you. He “swore” (Munafiks also swear), so you swear. There can no be any other option, choice or alternative. If you do this, any doubting Thomas will now come to his/her senses. These BN people are evil by nature, so take care DSAI. You should swear and deny them any bullets to fire at you. Tok Guru Nik Aziz should accompnay you to the Mosque. They have prepared CDs to show it to PP votes and demonise you. Why not stop them with a single act of swearing DSAI? Non-Muslims don’t care, but Muslims do. So, that’s why you need to act swiftly. I hope tomorrow, you will close this chapter. Tujuannya boleh dihebah di akhbar esok, terutama akhbar Utuasn Meloya supaya orang melayu percaya dan yakin kerana sumpah adalah kata pemutus dalam adat resam orang Melayu. Walhal ulamak2 mutabar sejagat termasuk Mufti Perak dan TGNA mengatakan bersumpah bukan dituntut oleh syarak. Kaedah yang digunakan oleh Sifool nampak sangat bercanggah dengan syarak dan membelakangi para2 ulamak. Kalau Sifool dan keluarganya jujur dan iklas dalam kes ini dan nak dikendalikan secara Islam kenapa tak dibawa kes ini kemakamah syariah seperti yang dilaksanakan oleh DSAI. Inilah lakunan yang boleh diberi tajuk BAPA BOREK ANAK RINTIK.
It could be a bit damaging taking into consideration of the timing. You may need someone from religious background to back you up. It’s not a matter of winning or losing. It’s about your integrity that being at stake and perception of Muslim voters who could be exploited easily is so important for the time being.
I’m sure being very resourceful you would be able to counter, not only counter but damage BN to severity. That could be only way to show the bankruptcy of BN and their leaders.

Are you a Muslim Scholar appealing DSAI to swear as what Sinfool did just because you worried that Umno will harp and poisond the mind of the Malays. Don’t worry, DSAI knows better what to do as he has friends among the Muslim Scholars internationally and locally who can assist and advise him. Becareful, do not simply suggest something which is not supported and advise by ulamak. In Islam, even though we are not so knowledgeable in Islamic Teaching but it a must (Fardu Kifayha) there is one ulamak among us where we can refer to when doubtful arise in Islamic practice.
As a Malaysian,we all have faith on you Datuk Seri,just forget about this ameno boy and his swearing.

What if after you sumpah, will all charges be dropped and we all wait for God to punish the wrong? Or the charges still go on?
Think about how Saiful has fund to hold press conferences, perhaps someone should start investigating who is paying for all these bills, the scholarship?

Politics are Dirty, Religion is Holy. For every Muslims Holy Qur’an is most Holiest thing. Because it is the word of Allah. ( God Almighty). I cried for so long because I could not believe with my very own eyes, In an Islamic nation and an Islamic ruling political party is using Holy Qur’an as playing tool for their political ambitions. Whoever did orchestrated this must be punished severely. Every Muslims and Every Malaysians knows :-
1) The accuser is NOT allowed to SWEAR on Holy Qur’an until the case is finished in SYARIAH COURT.
2) The SWEARING should be conducted in front of SYARIAH COURT HAKIMS and ISLAMIC SCHOLARS and ISLAMIC INTELECTUALS.
3) The SWEARING must be performed in SYARIAH COURT, not in MASJIDS.
4) Both ACCUSER & ACCUSED must be present, when performing the SWEARING.
5) An Imam of a MASJID is certainly NOT a HAKIM.
6) The SWEARING should be LAST.
7) Its shows that the ACCUSER doesn’t RESPECT the SYARIAH LAW & SYARIAH COURT.
It’s the saddest day of Islam in our Malaysian history. Please keep your DIRTY POLITICS PLOTS outside MASJIDS. MASJIDS are the place for WORSHIPING. CERTAINLY NOT FOR PERFORMING CHEAP DRAMA ACTING.

Sumpah laknat oleh “manusia” yang tak beriman kepada Allah adalah sia-sia semata, kerana sepanjang hidupnya pun, “manusia” itu telah dilaknat Allah dengan tidak membuka pintu hatinya untuk mengamalkan ajaran islam walaupun pada zahir, nama dan kulitnya adalah seorang islam.
Dengan yang demikian, “manusia” ini tidak akan ada gentar dan takut olehnya pada azab Allah, pada mukjizat Al-Quran nurQarim dan pada agama islam itu sendiri.

Saya ingin mengutarakan sedikit pandangan berkenaan dengan sumpah Saiful yang kononnya dibuat untuk membuktikan kebenaran dakwaannya.
Sebenarnya bagi saya, isu ini mudah saja tapi telah diputar-belitkan faktanya oleh Saiful dan tok2 gurunya yang sanggup menggunakan faktor agama sebagai senjata terakhir mereka untuk menyerang DSAI.
Sebelum rakyat Malaysia ditipu sekali lagi, marilah kita sama2 renungi apakah amalan bersumpah ini pernah dilaksanakan oleh Rasulullah SAW sendiri semasa zaman pemerintahannya sebagai Khalifah di Kota Madinah satu masa dahulu.
Ambil saja satu contoh yang sangat jelas yang boleh dijadikan perbandingan dengan kes fitnah liwat yang berlaku sekarang iaitu peristiwa di mana isteri Rasulullah SAW sendiri iaitu Siti Aisyah R.A telah difitnah oleh golongan munafik yang berniat jahat untuk menjatuhkan maruah Rasulullah SAW sebagai seorang rasul dan Khalifah Islam. Peristiwa besar yang menimpa Aisyah ini dikenali sebagai hadith ifkh (berita bohong). Keluarga Rasulullah saw dan seluruh umat Islam Madinah menanggung beban perasaan yang amat sangat kerana peristiwa itu.
Bagaimanapun dalam hal ini Rasulullah SAW tidak pula meminta Siti Aisyah R.A untuk bersumpah samada dengan menggunakan AlQuran ataupun tidak, serta tidak pula Baginda mencabar pihak yang menuduh untuk berbuat begitu. Bahkan Rasulullah sebaliknya meminta agar semua sahabat dan seluruh muslimin dan muslimat supaya bertenang dan memohon petunjuk dari Allah SWT dalam perkara ini.
Akhirnya dengan turunnya ayat2 suci AlQuran yang menjelaskan tentang kesucian Aisyah R.A yang telah difitnah oleh musuh2 Islam dan sekaligus pengesahan dari Allah SWT ini telah meredakan keresahan dan pergolakan di kalangan masyarakat Islam ketika itu.
Maka dapatlah kita simpulkan bahawa Rasulullah SAW tidak pernah menyalahgunakan kedudukannya sebagai seorang pemimpin apatah lagi seorang rasul yang menjadi ikutan seluruh umat untuk kepentingan peribadinya walaupun ketika isterinya difitnah sekalipun.
Jadi, saya berharap janganlah ada mana2 pihak yang sanggup menodai kesucian agama Islam hanya untuk kepentingan peribadi mereka apatah lagi sekiranya untuk digunakan dalam sebarang bentuk kejahatan kerana Allah SWT Maha Melihat segala2nya dan azabNya terlalu pedih dan tidak tergambarkan di kemudian hari.

Diharapkan saudara Anwar tidak terpedaya dgn helah tipu daya puak yg zalim itu utk turut sama bersumpah. Tidak ada langsung dlm Agama Islam yg dibawa Rasulullah saw yg mengatakan ada prosedur utk bersumpah menggunakan nama Allah dan Al-Quran. Sebg contoh, semasa isteri Baginda, Saiyidatina Aisyah difitnah bersama seorang sahabat, Rasulullah tidak langsung meminta Aisyah utk bersumpah utk menafikan fitnah tersebut, sehingga turun ayat Al-Quran yg secara langsung menetapkan undang2 bagi prosedur menuduh org berzina.
Manusia yg tamakkan kuasa dan harta akan menggunakan berbagai cara utk memperolehi apa yg mereka kehendaki, termasuklah menggunakan Al-Quran. Sebagai contoh, semasa peperangan antara kumpulan Saidina Ali ra dgn kumpulan Muawiyah, setelah hampir kalah, kumpulan yg menentang Ali terus mencucuk Al-Quran dgn lembing2 mereka utk mengakui kalah dan ajak berbincang tanpa ada senjata. Lalu Ali bersetuju utk berbincang tanpa senjata. Namun setiap yg berlaku itu ada hikmah dari Allah, dan Ali telah ditipu di mana puak itu telah membawa senjata dan menyebabkan kekalahan Ali. Itu menunjukkan sejak dari zaman sahabat lagi, manusia yg bernama Islam ini sanggup menipu org Islam lain utk tujuan jahat, walaupun menggunakan Al-Quran.
Saudara Anwar, saya harap saudara bersabar dan perbanyakkan berdoa meminta pertolongan dari Allah yg Maha Berkuasa, hancurkan puak2 yg zalim di muka bumi Malaysia ini, sebagaimana hancurnya tentera Abrahah. Sesungguhnya doa org yg teraniaya, tiada hijab antara dia dgn Allah swt. InsyaAllah, kebenaran akan muncul akhirnya. Tiada yg kekal di dunia ini. Kerajaan Rom, Parsi yg gemilang, terbilang dan cemerlang pun akhirnya musnah, tak lama lagi kerajaan BN pulak…InsyaAllah.

Pegang Quran, bila dicloseup Quran tu baru, macam tak pernah dibaca olehnya, macam baru dibeli dikedai semata-mata nak guna masa tu. Time ni pun dia masih nak fikir nak tunjuk glamer. Nak angkat sumpahpun penuh style, kata orang.
Kata dia za**r DSAI masuk ke dlm du**r dia tapi kat Dr. Pusrawi dia kata dia dijolok dengan plastik. Lepas tu dulu heboh kata diliwat berulang-ulang kali sekarang kata hanya sekali. Pertuduhannya mengata perbuatan itu consensual tetapi sumpahnya kata dia dipaksa. Mana logiknya anak muda tegap sasa diliwat paksa oleh orang tua 61 tahun yang sakit tulang belakang? Tak tahulah aku orang tua tu makan viagra, tongkat ali, guna sensa oil, minyak ntah apa apa ntah dan macam-macam lagi sekali gus. Maka jadilah orang tua tu kuat macam harimau.. Mungkin ada yang kata kat paper ada je org tua 70 tahun didakwa merogol. Yelah ada, tapi siapa yang mereka rogol? Adakah anak muda sesasa Shitfull tu?
Dia cakap dia lakukan semua kerana Allah, maruah dan ntah apa apa lagi. Adey tengok mukapun tahu jenis liat bangun sembahyang suboh, abih cam mano? Buat sidang akhbar kat hotel jam 7.30 mlm, waktu Maghrib. Pandai betul timing ko Shitfull. Kalau kau menegakkan agama macam kau kata , masa tu patutnya kau bersembahyang maghrib lepas tu berzikir, baca Quran minta lagi petunjuk Allah dsbnya, sama lah dengan bapak dan loyar buruk kau tu. Tak sembahyang ke korang? Sidang akhbar paling-paling habih 1 jam. Masa tu dah masuk isyak. Islam kebenda ni , benda senangpun tak kau tak jaga? Kesimpulannya… PIIIRAAAHHHH!

There is no such thing as ‘bersumpah secara ISLAM’. which ‘kitab’ did he refer to? who’s ulama that he consulted with? So far what i do understand is that taking oath or ‘bersumpah laknat’ is required in the case of Li’an between husband and wife (who’s accusing spouse of aldultery) and please think of the story of Saydatina Aisyah r.a when she was accused of having affair with the man who had help her did she then go the mosque and swear on oath that she was innocent? thats the Sunnah that we muslim should observe if we are a true Muslim and the fact that Saydatina Aisyah herself is known as Mother of All Muslim thus shouldn’t we then have to follow?…the call by Perlis’s Mufti is baseless and again.. what book that he himself referered to?

Sahlah sudah episod semalam itu memang dirancang. Tapi ingat, mereka merancang, Allah juga merancang, perancangan Allah yang lebih baik. Bersumpah dalam hal ini tidak termaktub dalam pengalaman islam scara syarie di masa lampau. Sumpah pegang kitab ni bukan keadah Islam tetapi kaedah Kristian. Jadi kaedah tu dah salah jadi natijahnya adalah salah. Encik Saiful kena ingat awak tu muda lagi, panjang lagi masa nak hidup pada adatnya. Sanggupkah kamu dilaknat oleh manusia sekitar kamu sejak dari muda lagi!! dan ingat laknat dari Allah. Nak buat sesuatu kerana Allah kenalah ikut perintah Allah dahulu. Ulamak telah sepakat bahawa tuduhan seperti yang Saiful buat tu termasuk dalam Qazaf. Oleh itu penuduh iaitu Saiful kena bawa empat orang saksi yang adil, yang nampak zakar masuk dubur, kalau salah seorang dari empat saksi itu tak nampak peristiwa itu maka Saiful akan dikira sebagai munafik, patut di sebat 80 kali dan padah diakhirat nanti lebih pedih lagi. Kalau tak ada saksi empat orang tak guna bersumpah, dahlah bersumpah tak ikut syarak oleh itu nampak sangatlah si Saiful ni buat tuduhan dan fitnah yang termasuk dalam Qazaf.

Presiden PAS, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang berkata, bersumpah menggunakan kitab suci bukan ajaran Islam sebaliknya merupakan amalan orang Kristian dan Yahudi.
Sehubungan itu, kata bekas menteri besar Terengganu itu, kes yang membabitkan zina dan liwat hendaklah dirujuk kepada undang-undang qazaf.
“Jika undang-undang qazaf tidak ada, kerajaan perlu membuat pindaan di Parlimen supaya ia boleh diadili melalui undang-undang Islam
“Rujuk kepada mahkamah syariah mengikut Akta 121 (1A) Perlembagaan Persekutuan iaitu kes untuk zina dan liwat,” katanya.
Abdul Hadi berkata demikian ketika mengulas tindakan Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan bersumpah di Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan mendakwa beliau telah diliwat secara paksa oleh Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Bagaimanapun, Abdul Hadi berkata, dalam Islam hanya ada lian iaitu sumpah antara pasangan suami isteri.
“Anwar dan Saiful bukan suami isteri dan dalam kes ini ia bukan sahaja tidak kena tetapi telah menunjukkan kebodohan umat Islam sendiri.
‘Agenda politik kotor’
“Beliau (Saiful) menggunakan agama Islam jenama apa kerana ia tidak merupakan hak dalam Islam.
“Bagaimana Saiful bersumpah menggunakan Quran sedangkan dia tidak tahu isu kandungan kitab suci itu.
“Dia (Saiful) boleh buat apa sahaja tetapi kita tidak boleh dengar sebelah pihak sahaja,” katanya.
Abdul Hadi sekali lagi mengulangi kes tersebut merupakan satu agenda politik yang kotor.
Beliau juga menegaskan PAS akan tetap membantu Anwar untuk memenangi pilihanraya kecil Parlimen Permatang Pauh 26 Ogos ini.
Katanya, dalam Islam seseorang tidak dianggap bersalah selagi ia tidak didapati bersalah.
“Oleh itu kita tidak mahu membuat hukuman awal seolah-olah Anwar telah bersalah.
“Apabila membenarkan Anwar bertanding dalam pilihanraya ia merupakan satu kaedah yang beliau tidak bersalah,” katanya.
Menurutnya lagi, Anwar tidak perlu untuk melakukan sumpah laknat sepertimana yang dilakukan oleh Mohd Saiful untuk membersihkan namanya.
“Biarlah ia diputuskan oleh Mahkmah Syariah,” katanya.
Dalam kenyataannya semalam, Saiful mencabar Anwar supaya melakukan sumpah laknat untuk membersihkan namanya.

August 15th, 2008 is the saddest Islamic day in our Malaysian history when the irreligious hijack the Holy Qurán and use it as tool of expediency. In this regard, I am using “The Quran”, an English translation approved by the Supreme Sunni and Shii Councils of the Republic of Lebanon to conduct Islamic theological exposition concerning why this incident is profanities most foul. Please refer to your choice Qurán while following my theological reasoning.
Qur’an in 6:19 raises this crucial question. “What thing counts most in testimony (6:19)?” The answer it provides for all Muslims is “Say, ‘Let Allah be a witness between me and you’ (6:19)”. Since no one has seen Allah, therefore believers of God should take His holy name seriously. This is follow by the exhortation: “Do not swear, true obedience (will count). Allah is cognizant of all your actions (24:53)”. In plain language, this 24:53 recommends that believers of God should simply be honest and straightforward in their speech. All you need to say is “Yes” if you mean yes, “No” if you mean no; anything more than this comes from the Evil One.
“Glory” in 6:91 has two opposing connotations. They are, namely, “the glory shown by God” and “the glory given by believers”. They are posited exactly at the opposing ends of the same continuum. That is what 39:23 meant! “A Book uniform and yet repeating pairs of promises and threats and the like (39:23).” In this instance, one refers to God while the other points towards mankind. Incidentally, if you shift their applications around albeit through sheer ignorant, “glory” this keyword becomes a profane word. Caution then, saudara and saudari!
The Qur’an allows the limited use of profanities, which include profane language, or conduct, a blasphemy or oath. All of these come within the purview of 4:148. It deals with man in situations of high frustration when nothing seems to yield and prevail. When a man realizes his powerlessness or finitude, he may seek the use of profanities. In such use of profanities are his cosmic protests when he sees the “existential” claim of his life, when he knows what “being in such an awful situation” is. Those profanities represent his label for this dire predicament where in some way his existence is shown in its “bona fide” attribute. Profanities express “heroic disinclination”. It is an assertion of a person’s being pour vitriol and so on. It appeals to a characteristic situation of discernment and depth of his impasse, but at the cost of replacing “God” this word by the words used in profanities. Here, I am talking about “God” this word as opposes to “God” this Divine Being. That is the sole entry point in using 39:23 for a very forceful counter reasoning in this sworn on the Holy Qur’an to settle the issues concerning sodomy II!
If Adam or we choose “all the names (2:31)”, and by definition it is literally any name, it would imply that it is within our power and authority to will and create any religious situation anew. These amounts to we have the capacity to provide God with our guarantees. At the same time, we have the capacity to compel any religious disclosure from God. However, there are two exceptions to this generalization. They are, namely, circumcision for Muslims and Jews, baptism for Christians and when an explorer “labeled” his newly discovered land “In the name of God”.
Incidentally, we are now coming face-to-face, glaring at the logical ground where the Qur’an bans profanities. For profanities express our human heroic defiance. The Qur’an described this “human heroic defiance” as “man transgress (96:6) in thinking that himself is self-sufficient (96:7)”!
Pursuing this particular point still further, several very important salient features would emerge. In religious parlance, this precise situation is called “a Divine disclosure is contained within another Divine disclosure”. They are,
(1) It signifies a characteristic situation of Adam discerning this Divine disclosure when God “taught Adam all the names (2:31)”. Only when God Himself to circumstance discloses a “name” to us becomes characteristically religious. Adam “named them” (2:33) after God had taught him all the names (2:31) connote the salient fact that his discernment of this Divine disclosure (2:31) is a depth evoking one. Otherwise, Adam would fail in his effort to name them (2:33).
(2) When a man profane, two theological issues would arise. Firstly, God is Holy. Profanities is therefore not emanating from God. By implication, all profanities belong to the Evil One. Secondly, when a man profane, God is replaced by profane word used, which is emanating from the Evil One. This has no logical connection with the Divine scheme of God “taught Adam all the names (2:31)”; and God “taught by the pen, taught man what he did not know (96:3-5)”.
(3) Here and now, in a situation of depth evoking discernment, an “oath” takes the place of God.
Let us focus on re (1) to (3) now. God “taught man what he did not know” in 96:5 must be taken as continual and never ending on-going process of God is guiding the thoughts of specific individuals, inspiring, encouraging and teaching mankind. This is expressed in general terms of God is “regulating all things (10:3)”. It signifies the continuing presence of God in His role as Creator provides providential guidance to human beings.
This entirely Qur’an based theological reasoning concerns God breathed His Spirit into man mentioned in 15:29 and 32:9. God has also written the faith in man’s heart and strengthened them with a Spirit of His own (58:22). God lifted up, expanded man’s heart (94:1) thereby putting love and kindness in his heart (30:21), and beautified it (49:7). While God taught man what he does not know (96:5) and reveals it by His grace to individual heart (2:97). In 2:93, it reminds men to take what God has given us with willing hearts. The key expressions within this entirely Qurán based theological parameter are “God’s Spirit” and “man’s heart”. Theologically, the heart in human person is the medium where the encounter with God takes place (30:21 & 49:7). Our “humility and awe without ostentation (7:205)” is the arena through which God communicates with us (10:100).
Thus, under His Law, believers are to be holy unto Allah. As such, 6:75-79 demonstrates the fact that personal faith in God is a gradual progression from ignorant to enlightenment as God “taught man what he did not know (96:5)”. In an analogy, the relationship is akin to student and teacher. As teacher taught, the kindergarten children have to take for granted whatsoever new knowledge disseminated by their teacher and learn obediently. Taking a helicopter ride from the plain to the mountain height of faith, or a straight jump from kindergarten to University is totally out of the question. For the Qur’an says, “No soul can have faith except by the will of Allah (10:100). Allah has endeared the Faith to you and beautified it in your hearts (49:7)”.
Meanwhile, do you know, really know the tacit meanings conveyed to us by 96:3-5? That is “Read! Your Lord is the Most Bountiful One, who taught by the pen, taught man what he did not know (96:3-5)”.
It relates to God taught men that there are claims on us beyond self-interest, which have to do concurrently with integrity, justice and mercy. At the undefined margins between integrity, justice and mercy these three major teachings uphold by the Qur’an is a panorama of spiritual landscapes. In God “taught by the pen, taught man what he did not know (96:3-5)” until man can “named them (2:33)”, have you ever spare a moment and ask yourself, “What must the pen do?” Its self-given obvious answer is the pen must be used to take notes and write what God has taught men what he did not now. Are you certain, then, the “pen” mentioned in 96:3-5 must exclude the medical report from the examining Muslim doctor?
It means God has withdraw His continual care and reforming regeneration in creating anew for us if you choose to exclude “pen” from formally trained the examining doctor who has clearly named the “gold mine” in question was normal, no bleeding, there were no sign of piles and no abscess and no pus, no injury, no tear and no discharge. The gold mine was clean and dry and looked normal. No abnormalities seen.
On these bases, rather than indulging triumphantly in profanities most gross directed against God and His Word written, it is far better for Saiful either to fly kites or tying shoestrings in loony bin!
