Es ist alles, wie es schon einmal war. Alles bis ins kleinste, übelste, anzüglichste Detail. In Malaysia wiederholt sich die Geschichte. Das sagt man leicht dahin. Doch hier ist es wirklich so. Und es ist eine bizarre, surrealistische Geschichte.
Das Schicksal dieses Landes mit 27 Millionen Einwohnern, vielen Kulturen und Sprachen und Religionen, einem Tigerstaat mit viel Öl und noch mehr Palmöl – Malaysias Schicksal also hängt von einer schmierigen Affäre um angeblichen Analverkehr unter Männern ab. Man muss es so sagen. Das ist nicht vulgär. Das ist malaysische Politik: auf höchster Ebene, aus der untersten Schublade.
In Kuala Lumpur haben sie am Donnerstag Malaysias früheren stellvertretenden Premierminister und heutigen Oppositionschef Anwar Ibrahim formal angeklagt – wegen homosexuellen Geschlechtsverkehrs. Im mehrheitlich muslimischen Malaysia stehen darauf im Höchstfall 20 Jahre Haft und die Prügelstrafe. Angeblich passierte es am 26. Juni 2008, zwischen 15.01 Uhr und 16.30 Uhr, in der Wohnung 11-5-1 an der Jalan Kasih Nummer 99 in Kuala Lumpur.
Die Regierungsclique will Anwar stoppen
So steht es in der Anklageschrift. Anwar sagte vor Gericht, er habe keinen Geschlechtsverkehr gehabt mit dem Kläger, einem jungen Parteimitarbeiter. Der Fall sei fabriziert, eine Farce, eine Verschwörung gegen ihn. Sie ließen ihn gegen Kaution frei, bis zum Beginn des Prozesses im September. Frei mit der Last eines düsteren Déjà-vu.
Vor genau zehn Jahren trug sich in Malaysia die gleiche Geschichte zu, mit den selben Protagonisten. Nur der Kläger ist neu. Schon damals griff der populärste und charismatischste Politiker im Land nach der Macht. Und wie damals versucht die Regierungsclique, die seit der Unabhängigkeit vor 51 Jahren an der Macht festhält, Anwar Ibrahim daran zu hindern und ihm auf die billige Tour den Rücken zu brechen.
Der Zeitpunkt dabei ist zentral. Vor fünf Tagen hatte der Oppositionspolitiker bekanntgegeben, er werde in einer Ersatzwahl am 26. August für einen Sitz im Parlament kandidieren. Für Mitte September kündigte er den Sturz der Regierung an. 30 Stimmen fehlen der Opposition für eine Mehrheit im Parlament. Anwar behauptet, er habe schon genügend Überläufer auf seiner Seite. Vielleicht blufft er nur.
Der gleiche Plot wie vor zehn Jahren
Aber er fordert die Mächtigen heraus. Und das System reagiert wie vor zehn Jahren: mit einer Anklage wegen Analverkehr unter Männern, was im Englischen Sodomy genannt wird. Auch in Bahasa Malaysia, der Sprache der Malaysier, sagen sie Sodomy. Und sie reden oft von Sodomy, wenn sie von Politik reden. Eigentlich reden sie nur noch davon.
„Ist es nicht verrückt, dass sie den genau gleichen Plot wählten wie vor zehn Jahren?“, fragte Anwar, als wir vor einigen Tagen in seinem neuen Büro saßen, draußen in Petaling Jaya, einem Vorort von Kuala Lumpur mit großen Boulevards und vielen Baustellen. Der Teppich roch noch nach Fabrik. Die Klimaanlage war auf 16 Grad eingestellt.
Unten in der Eingangshalle der Gerechtigkeitspartei saßen sechs Reporter von der lokalen Presse, vier schliefen auf ihren Stühlen. Alle warteten auf die Verhaftung. Sie stand im Skript, sie war programmiert. „Ist es nicht traurig für mich, für meine Familie, für dieses Land?“

Anwar erwartete keine Antwort auf solche Fragen. Er schaute einen nur eindringlich an beim Reden. Keine Sekunde schaute er weg. Als wollte er ergründen, ob man ihm auch wirklich glaubt, ob man ihn auch für unschuldig hält, wie das 80 Prozent der Malaysier tun, wie eine unabhängige Umfrage zeigt. Oder ob die Kampagne der Gegner, dieses Politisieren unter der Gürtellinie, verbreitet über alle Kanäle der Staatsmedien, doch einen Zweifel am Opfer aufkommen lässt. Einen Zweifel an ihm, an Anwar Ibrahim. An seiner Redlichkeit. Trotz allem.
Der Kläger ist 23 Jahre jung. Ein hübscher, mysteriöser Mann, Studienabbrecher. Es gibt Bilder von Mohamad Saiful Bukhari, die ihn in Gesellschaft mit Ministern zeigen. Eines zeigt ihn mit Najib Razak, dem Vize-Premier und designierten Regierungschef. Najib ist der große Gegenspieler Anwar Ibrahims. Doch für einige Monate gehörte Saiful dem freiwilligen Mitarbeiterstab von Anwars Partei an, also der Opposition.
Anwar sagte beim Interview in seinem Büro: „Er war ein Streber, riss immer die Türe meines Wagens auf, wenn ich ins Büro kam, küsste meine Hände. Den Kollegen ging das auf die Nerven, doch ich hatte keinen Verdacht, ich hielt das für die üblichen Intrigen unter Mitarbeitern.“ War Saiful infiltriert? Seit er Anwar bezichtigt hat, steht Saiful unter Polizeischutz. Niemand hat ihn mehr gesehen. Zuerst behauptete er, Anwar habe ihn vergewaltigt. In der Anklageschrift steht nun, er habe eingewilligt.

Nasib negara ini yang mempunyai 27 juta penduduk, dengan berbagai tradisi, bahasa dan agama, sebuah harimau asia yang kaya dengan Petroleum dan lebih kaya dengan minyak sawit – (dan) nasib Malaysia juga bergantung kepada skandal jijik homoseksual(Analverkehr ) diantara Lelaki. Inilah yang dapat kita katakan. Ini bukanlah suatu ungkapan yang biadab atau lucah. (tetapi) Ini adalah politik Malaysia: pada peringkat/tahap tertinggi, (tetapi) sangat primitif (baca:terlalu hina).
Di Kuala Lumpur mereka telah pada Khamis lalu menuduh/mendakwa bekas Timbalan Perdana Menteri yang kini merupakan ketua Pembangkang –(atas tuduhan) kerana melakukan hubungan Seks luar Tabii.Bagi kebanyakan orang muslim di Malaysia hukuman yang patut dikenakan maksimum 20 tahun penjara berserta sebatan.Kemungkinan kejadian (dijangka) berlaku pada 26.hb jun 2008 , diantara pukul 03:01 petang dan 04:30 petang, di sebuah Apartment 11-5-1, jalan kasih 99 di Kuala Lumpur.
Pihak Kerajaan (Malaysia) mahu menjatuhkan Anwar
(Seperti) itulah yang tertulis didalam laporan pendakwaan. (tetapi) Anwar telah menyatakan di hadapan Mahkamah, bahawa dia tidak melakukan hubungan seks luar tabii bersama dengan si pengadu, seorang pekerja Parti.(Beliau menyatakan) Tuduhan itu direka-reka, satu lakonan lawak, serta suatu konspirasi terhadapnya. Mereka membebaskannya dengan ikat jamin, sehingga proses perbicaraan di mulakan September ini. Bebas dengan beban hitam yang menanti (baca: tanpa diketahui akan nasib nya)
Genap sepuluh tahun lampau, telah tersebar di Malaysia cerita yang sama, bersama-sam dengan watak utama yang sama. Cuma si pengadu sahaja yang baru (baca: orang lain). Sejak dahulu lagi tampuk kuasa dikuasai ahli politik yang popular dan karismetik di dalam negara (Malaysia).Dan seperti dahulu juga Pihak kerajaan telah berusaha, sejak 51 tahun Merdeka untuk terus memegang tampuk kuasa, untuk menyekat Anwar dan terus-menerus menyerangnya di jelajah murahan (seluruh negara).
Masanya kini hamper tiba. Lima hari sebelumnya Ahli Politik pembangkang ini telah mengumumkan, beliau akan bertanding dalam Pilihanraya Kecil pada 26.hb ogos ini untuk kerusi Parliment. Beliau mewar-warkan untuk menjatuhkan kerajaan sekarang di pertengahan September ini. 30 Kerusi (Parliment) masih diperlukan pihak pembangkang untuk menguasai (memperolehi majoriti di dalam) Parliament. Anwar menegaskan, beliau sudah memiliki ahli (parlimen) yang cukup untuk berhijrah di pihaknya.Mungkin beliau hanya sekadar menggertak.
Plot(cerita) yang sama seperti 10 tahun dahulu
Tetapi beliau tetap mencabar mereka yang berada di tampuk kuasa (baca: Pihak kerajaan). Dan seluruh sistem memberikan reaksi yang sama seperti 10 tahun dahulu: dengan pertuduhan seks luar tabii seperti didalam bahasa Inggerisnya dipanggil sodomy. Seperti juga didalam Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Rakyat Malaysia, mereka memanggilnya Sodomy. Mereka berbicara kerap tentang Sodomy, apabila mereka berbicara tentang Politik.Sebenarnya meraka hanya membicarakan hanya tentang perkara itu (Penterjemah: Is this actually what the germans really think about us?)
“Bukankah ini suatu kerja gila, apabila mereka memilih (untuk menjalankan) jalan cerita yang betul-betul sama seperti 10 tahun yang lampau?” tanya Anwar ,apabila kami mengunjungi beliau beberapa hari yang lalu di pejabat baru beliau di luar Petaling Jaya, di pinggir Kuala Lumpur yang dipenuhi jalan yang luas dan tapak pembinaan.(Dimana) Permaidaninya masih berbau kilang.(Dan)Penghawa dinginnya di letakkan pada suhu 16 darjah celcius.
Dibawah (pejabat beliau), di Lobby Parti-Keadilan(jerman:Gerechtigkeitspartei) duduk 6 wartawan dari akhbar tempatan, empat(dari mereka) tidur di kerusi mereka.Semuanya menunggu mengenai penahanan.Mereka mengikut script,mereka di programkan.
“Adakah tidak sedih bagi saya,bagi keluarga saya,bagi negara ini?”

Anwar tidak mengharapkan jawapan untuk soalan seperti itu. Beliau hanya melihat dengan serius apabila berbicara. Tidak walau sesaat pun beliau menoleh. Beliau semahu-mahunya menegaskan, seperti orang benar-benar mempercayainya, seperti orang benar-benar menganggapnya tidak bersalah, seperti yang dilakukan oleh 80 peratus dari rakyat Malaysia, yang ditunjukkan oleh sebuah kajian bebas.Atau seperti kempen dari pihak lawan, yang mempolitikkan disekelilingnya, menyebarkan melalui semua saluran media negara, (tetapi masih tetap) benar meninggalkan keraguan pada penampilan mangsa.Keraguan terhadap beliau, terhadap Anwar Ibrahim.Terhadap integriti/kredibiliti beliau. Terhadap semua.
Si Pengadu masih muda berumur 23 tahun.Seorang yang cantik, lelaki yang misteri, (seorang yang) terkandas/terhenti pelajaran.Ada gambar Mohamad Saiful Bukhari, yang menunjukkan hubungannya dengan menteri-menteri.Salah satunya menunjukkan beliau bersama Najib Razak, timbalan perdana (menteri) dan (yang)menghiasi ketua kerajaan. Najib merupakan saingan yang besar buat Anwar Ibrahim.(tetapi) benar untuk beberapa bulan saiful adalah sebahagian daripada pekerja sukarelawan kepada Parti Anwar,iaitu pembangkang.
Anwar menyatakan didalam temuramah di pejabat beliau: “Dia seorang yang kuat mengampu(@berlagak pandai/baik), selalu membukakan pintu kenderaan untuk saya, apabila saya tiba di pejabat, dia mencium tangan saya. Pegawai-pegawai lain merasakan sangat tidak senang(baca:mencemuh),(tetapi tetap )saya tidak mempunyai prasangka, saya menganggapnya hanya cerita(baca: buruk) biasa diantara kakitangan “.Adakah Saiful Menyelinap masuk secara senyap-senyap? Sejak beliau menuduh Anwar, Saiful kini berada di dalam perlindungan (pihak) polis.Tiada sesiapa pernah melihat beliau lagi. Mula-mula beliau menyatakan, Anwar telah memperkosa dirinya.Di dalam pertuduhan mahkamah tertuli pula, beliau telah merelakannya.
Begitulah perjalanan karier politik Anwar terhadap pertuduhan….

Sesetengah menganggap Anwar sebagai Popularis
Beliau menghampiri semua (orang). Dan apabila beliau berkata-kata, Anwar mempunyai kebijaksanaan, (untuk) menarik perhatian ramai.Pidatonya sangat memukau, mereka memutarkannya didalam CD-CD dan DVD-DVD.Beliau mempunyai jenaka yang bernas, dan benar beliau seorang yang hampir bersama rakyat.
Terdapat juga mereka yang menganggap beliau seorang yang licik, sebagai seorang Popularis dan juga seorang Opputunis. Di zaman mudanya beliau seorang yang radikal islamis.Di era 70an beliau menubuhkan sebuah gerakan konservativ muslim muda, ditahan di bawah akta keselamatan dalam negeri,Isa, satu sistem dari zaman kolonial british, dimana membenarkan pihak kerajaan, untuk memenjarakan pihak lawan tanpa limit waktu – tanpa pertuduhan mahkamah,tanpa perbicaraan
Anwar ditahan dahulunya selama 2 tahun lamanya.1981 merupakan titik perubahan besar di dalam karier beliau: Mahathir Mohamad seoran pemimpin autokratik, yang pernah menerajui tampuk kekuasaan dan mengambil seorang yang rektorik seperti Anwar ke pejabat beliau, melantik beliau sebagai menteri kebudayaaan dan kemudiannya…..
