There is no evidence that Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan was sodomised, according to the doctor who examined him four hours before he lodged a police report alleging he was sexually assaulted by PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim.
It is believed that Anwar’s former aide Saiful (left) went to two different hospitals on June 28 – the day he lodged the police report claiming that he was sodomised by his ex-boss.
He first went to Hospital Pusrawi (Pusat Rawatan Islam) in Jalan Tun Razak – a government-linked Islamic medical institution – at about 2pm.
According to a copy of the two-page medical report obtained by malaysiakini yesterday, Saiful went to the hospital complaining of ‘tenesmus’ – a medical term for difficulty and pain in passing motion.
He was examined by Dr Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid, the medical officer on duty.
The doctor said that the patient had alleged he was assaulted by the intrusion of a piece of “plastic” in the anus.
Mohamed Osman, according to his medical report which was recorded at 2.14pm, found “zero active bleeding”, “zero ulcer or pus”, “zero tear and scar” in Saiful’s anus.
He also stated that Saiful appeared “alert”, “comfortable”, “not pale” and did not show any fever symptoms.
A senior Pusrawi official told malaysiakini this morning that the hospital had launched an internal investigation on how Saiful’s medical report was leaked, which is widely considered as a major infringement of patient privacy.
When malaysiakini showed him a copy of the report, he refused to return it saying, “It’s our document.”
A check at the emergency unit where Mohamed Osman is attached revealed that he has taken leave since last week.
Meanwhile, Pusrawi general manager Wan Mahmood Wan Yaacob refused to comment on the matter.
Conflicting medical reports
Mohamed Osman, in his report’s concluding remarks, advised Saiful to go to a government hospital so as “to rule out” assault and sodomy.
At 6pm on that day, Saiful went to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for his second medical examination. He subsequently lodged a report against Anwar at the police beat at the hospital.
According to an expert who has dealt with rape and sodomy cases, the victim must provide a second medical examination in a government hospital.
She said the court will only accept evidence from a government hospital but the first medical examination must collaborate with the second report, otherwise this could be challenged during the trial.
“From the report, the doctor had failed to find any evidence to support the patient’s complaint. That was why he asked the patient to go to a government hospital to conclusively rule out assault or sodomy,” said the expert who requested anonymity.
It is learnt that the police have recorded statements from Mohamed Osman after Saiful lodged the report against Anwar.
The doctor was said to be under tremendous stress as a result of the police interrogation and was advised by the hospital to take leave.
Mohamed Osman, a Burmese Muslim, has 20 years of experience as a doctor. He previously worked in government hospitals before joining Pusrawi about a year ago.
Efforts by malaysiakini to contact Saiful has not been successful.

I agree with Travolta on his suggestion. However I’m sure you would have received this piece of information before us and your legal experts to help you with that. It appears to be that finally under Abdullah administration, the entire rule and order in this country is collapsed. The AG and IGP are no more than 2 individuals who have no standing what so ever as top officers of Malaysia.
I’m sure they wouldn’t dare represent Malaysia in any international conference.

Alhamdulillah dengan berita terbaru ini. Allah sentiasa berada disamping orang-orang yang benar.
Satu maklumat yang saya terima dari rakan pejabat yang mana suami beliau adalah seorang anggota polis. Beliau memberitahu yang cuti bagi semua anggota polis terutama di Kuala Lumpur untuk bulan Ogos dibekukan. Ini adalah kerana maklumat mengatakan bahawa Datok Seri akan dibawa ke mahkamah pada 18 Ogos dan didakwa seterusnya tanpa jaminan dan aanggota polis amat diperlukan bagi menangani hal ini.
Saya amat berharap DSAI dapat mempastikan maklumat ini.

What puzzled me most was, why was there a need for the police to interrogate Dr Osman who has more than 2o years of experience as a medical officer. Unless of course, there is a suspicion of the Doctor integrity and professional ability is in doubt. This police behavior is quite expected, as practically the whole nation know they are just serving their political master. the Umno scumbags. When will decency and honor come back to Bolehland?

When people ask why there is so much ugly crime in Malaysia these days, what they need to do is look in the mirror. For decades they kept voting in the BN, even though they knew the party is infested with scoundrels of the worst order – hypocrites, robber barons, rapists, liars, embezzlers, sexual perverts, kidnappers, extortionists, gangsters and murderers! The outcome is obvious: when the leaders of a country are corrupt and debased, the political climate becomes conducive to breeding more criminals, murderers, poisoners and hypocrites. Why did they keep voting for BN? Well, people cheer and applaud when they see Robin Hood risk his neck to rob fromthe rich and give to the poor -but during the elections, they invariably vote for the Sheriff of Nottingham – because he’s the fellow who hands out the business contracts. Thank heaven that in March 2008 the rakyat began to wake up and put their foot down. Another few weeks and abit more pushing… and we shall see Pakatan Rakyat as the federal government, with Anwar Ibrahim as a PM everybody can respect and admire.

Hope that tha MMA (malaysian medical association) will protect this doctor as he only reported the true finding. He followed the appropriate procedure. DSAI, Ur wife know better regarding all of this procedure becoz i’m sure she used to be the medical officer also.

Saya sebenarnya telah mendengar khabar2 angin tentang hal saiful tu p check pungkok kat pusrawi sebab isteri sy kerja di sana.. cuma apa yg ditakutkan kini bahawa UMNO dan Be End sedang memainkan isu PAS dan UMNO kononnya ada perbincangan..
DSAI kena cepat2 ajak MP BN joint PKR sbb ada ura2 dari sumber yg boleh dipercayai yang DSAI akan dihadapkan ke mahkamah pada 18 Ogos nnti.. memang depa dah buat perancangan…Jahat betul pak lah dan najib.. najib dah risau hal altantuya tu.. mahkamah kita tak telus..klu betul nak cari kebenaran mengapa najib tak dipanggil utk disiasat dan jadi saksi di mahkamah.. saya membimbangkan rencana jahat BN ke atas DSAI..jadi cepat2lah tumbangkan BN sbelum agenda jahat mereka dijalankan…

Memang aku dah tahu tak logik! Firstly Kebiasaannya orang kena rogol pergi buat report polis dulu sbelum buat medical checkup. Ni pergi buat medical checkup dulu lepas tu buat laporan polis. Budak ni punya mock crime advisor sekolah kat mana ni?
Lepas tu kalau mangsa rogol, kena buat aduan dalam masa 24 jam selepas kejadian untuk mengukuhkan bukti. Itupun kalau dia belum berak atau kencing atau mandi. Kerana ada kemungkinan bahan bukti fizikal boleh dipertikaikan seperti luka dalaman yang disebabkan oleh najis yang keras, dan self inflicted wound. Kalau kencing pun boleh merosakkan DNA kerana asid uric. Ini budak tu buat medical checkup lepas dua hari?
Lagipun Kebiasaannya mangsa dalam keadaan trauma dan tertekan. Bukannya melambai-lambai kat reporter, angkat tangan ala-ala dah berjaya.
Thirdly, kalau perogol biasanya ditahan reman dan siasatan fizikal dijalankan dulu untuk mengumpul bahan bukti – Ini termasuk kawad cam, dan sorotan kronologi peristiwa. Ujian DNA adalah yang terakhir dilakukan sekiranya suspek tidak dapat dikenal pasti.
Polis kita PROFESIONAL? Lu pikirlah sendiri!

Inilah ‘habuan’ kamu wahai orang-orang umno sarkas. kalo selepas ni keluar statement dari polis bahwa laporan medical report tu cuma laporan biasa,kita semua penyokong PR TETAP TIDAK AKAN PERCAYA! tak payah dalih-dalih lagi la..kita harap la polis ni tak hasut dr mohammad sebab skrg ni doktor tu masih didalam tangan polis.

and hopefully that there will be not bloodshed because
