It is unfair and mischievous to put the blame on Anwar Ibrahim, as he is justified in refusing to give further samples. It is not Anwar who is un-cooperative. It is the police forensics who are at fault, and insisting on further blood samples when he had already given many times over between 1998 and 2004.
The onus of providing a DNA sample is on the police as it has ample DNA samples of Anwar in its possession.
From the experience of police forensics in other countries, DNA samples collected are well preserved for many many years, and do not get ‘old’ as claimed by Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi.
The police forensics have misled the Prime Minister, the Home Minister and the police should not try to pull over the eyes of the people. By claiming that Anwar’s dna samples are old, they are making themselves the laughing stock of the whole world.
Why DNA samples do not grow old? There are many living examples:-
1. Stephen Hawking, the Nobel Prize winning physicist have donated his DNA samples to the Human Genome institution for posterity and for research. Professor Hawking too not subscribe to the claim by Abdullah that a DNA sample can grow old.
2. In advanced countries, DNA samples are collected and stored for purposes of statistics, and scientific research.
3. Police foresics in developed countries have DNA libraries of felons and crooks. There are innumerable cases of rapists who escaped. but .were nabbed years after the crime, because they left tell tale semen on the clothes of the rape victims .
4. Scientists have discovered preserved DNA in prehistoric humans and animals.
It is obvious that Anwar’s DNA samples given between 1998 and 2004 must be available and intact for examination purposes by police forensics department.
The Home Minister and the police must stop harrassing Anwar for new DNA samples. The onus is on the police to provide DNA samples, not by Anwar.
The frantic appeal to Anwar to give a blood example has caused suspicion that the police have no substantive evidence of sodomy on the body of Saiful Bukhari Azlan in their possession.
Public perception is that a fresh blood sample from Anwar is desperately needed in order to fabricate evidence against Anwar.

Syabas, Dr Lim. You have at last spoken facts for all to hear and know. You have given the right suggestion that the police are obliged to give DSAI’s DNA sample collected in 1998 if there is a need for it. Further if there is the DNA profiles done in 1998 there is actually no need for any DNA blood sample for testing and profiling now.

There is a BIG VERY BIG difference if Pakatan and DSAI comes to power vs the current BeeEnd power structure and you should highlight it in your blog.
If DSAI ever comes to power, people should not worry, because DAP and PAS comes to power also as EQUAL partners. Lim Kit Siang and Tok Guru will not just let DSAI do as he wants.
This will truly be a check and balance govt. Likewise , PAS cant do as they want without angering DAP and also DAP cant do as they want without angering PAS. Because if any of the 3 walks out of Pakatan, Pakatan Rakyat will fall as the Govt. So , all 3 parties work together!…No one single party can call the shots, ie PAS cant simply ‘impose’ the Islamic state concept without DAP agreeing…………DAP cant simply take away the constituionally protected ‘special rights’ without PAS agreeing…..and finally DSAI cant do as and what he pleases without Lim Kit Siang and Hadi Awang in concurrence….becoz with Pakatan Rakyat, any of the 3 walking away, they will fall!……………that is REAL check and balance and a true coalition

now compare above with the situation In BeeEnd,……………. everybody knows Badawi and Najis can do as they want. UMNO rules BeeEnd as Superme King. All the rest, MCA, MIC, Gerakan etc etc etc are just running dogs and prostitutes for their masters in UMNO! That is why you have corruption galore!..u call whats happening now in BeeEnd a coalition of partners????
That is the real difference between a Pakatan Rakyat Federal Govt and the current corrupt govt we have.

Ramai orang dengan mudah menyangka buruk kepada Anwar Ibrahim.
Adalah perkara biasa, pihak penguasa hanya memerlukan sedikit maklumat yang benar untuk mengalahkan musuh-musuh politik mereka.
Sampai hari ini, pihak penguasa masih sukar untuk mendakwa Anwar Ibrahim yang sedang berada dalam posisi yang lemah.
Biasanya, dalam kes rogol atau apa-apa jenayah, pihak penguasa menyerahkan kepada pihak polis dan mahkamah untuk menyelesaikannya tanpa campur tangan langsung.
Tetapi dalam kes yang masih dalam penyiasatan ini, ramai menteri dan ahli parlimen UMNO telah membuat komentar.
Rakyat biasa seharusnya berfikir secara rasional.

Polis mungkin sapu DNA baru kat seluar dalam saiful yg dah berlubang dan cakap ya ada kes DNA DSAI pada seluar itu.
Kalau kita panggil pakar forensic luar pun tak dak guna sebab mereka hanya buat ujian DNA shj tapi sample DNA ini polis simpan dan sapu pada seluar saiful..jadi bahan bukti.
Sekarang ni lah DSAI perlu elak dan dapatkan perintah injunksi mahkamah menghalang polis dari terus minta DNA drp DSAI.
Macamana kalau kita mintak DNA AAB,NJ,RM,KJ & Syed Hamid…????? Mahu mereka kasi ke?????atau mahu ada olang buat lapuran polis hah..

Assalamualaikum Ayah Anwar,
Polis dah jadi ANJING KERAJAAN, nak buat macam mana, tuan dia suruh camtuh dia buat, kalau bukan Orangnya yang dekat dengan mereka, mereka akan melalak malah kemungkinan akan mengigit kita.
Selain itu, Ayah Anwar janganlah bimbang berkenaan dengan Polis ini, sebab Nabi Muhammad pernah berpesan, keistimewaan Ummat Muhammad ialah mereka tidak lagi akan menerima NABI dan RASUL yang baru, tetapi ditinggalkan AL-QUr’an dan AL-SUNNAH untuk dijadikan panduan dan ALLAH sebagai tempat untuk mereka berserah.
Semoga Ayah Anwar senantiasa sihat disamping keluarga tersayang. Hati2 dengan permainan duniawi.

What Dr Chen Man Hin said is absolutely true. Pak Lah has been exposed as an ignoramus who does not know what he is talking about. Clearly as Dr Chen pointed out, the police are desperate to get Anwar’s DNA so as to make a fresh charge against him, one which he would find it difficult to counter because of the “irrefutable proof” in his DNA. Notice that the BN is desperate to pass/and or amend legislation in parliament compelling Anwar to part with his DNA. It is clear the Pak Lah and the ruling UMNO/BN does not learn from the severe drubbing they got from the voters on 8 Mar. They pretend to give the impression that they are listening to the voice of the people from time to time, but in actual fact they are buying for time to think up more sinister ways of punishing the people for rejecting them. As they say, a leopard never changes its spot and Pak Lah/UMNO will never change their racist and fascist ways. In fact what UMNO/BN hoping for is to change the people’s thinking to support their racist and fascist ways. They succeeded in doing that after the May 13 1969 racial riots in KL and the whole country suffered for 40 years in many shocking ways which are turning us into another Zimbabwe when we could have become another Singapore or Japan.
It is clear that UMNO which failed miserably in demonising Anwar is now desperate to get rid of him by all means, including detention under the ISA again. UMNO has reached a stage, as reflected in the wild extremist comments of its leaders like Khir Toyo and others, where it does not care about how the people feel. It is going all out to stop the people of all races from wanting a multi-racial Malaysia based on Anwar’s Ketuanan Rakyat, DAP’s Malaysians First and PAS’ Negara Kebajikan. UMNO is even prepared to start another May 13 riots in order to uphold its defunct racist ketuanan Melayu concept. Having lost the support of the non-Malays and a substantial portion of the Malays going by the results of the last general election on 8 Mar, UMNO now wants to go all out to form an all Malay coalition with PAS to block the inevitable path to a Bangsa Malaysia based on Anwar’s Ketuanan Rakyat. At the same time UMNO leaders are going round calling Anwar a “traitor” to the Malay race, sodomist, etc, etc, with Khir Toyo calling the DAP and Hindraf as Chinese and Indian extremists, and linking them to Anwar.
It is to the credit of PAS spiritual adviser Nik Aziz to expose the deceit of UMNO, Pak Lah, Khir Toyo and others, but other PAS leaders must also heed Tok Guru’s advice not to have any more talks with UMNO, even on an individual basis, since Pak Lah and the mischievous mainstream papers like Utusan, Star, BH, exploit this to put Hadi, Nasharudin and Mustapha in poor light, portraying them as supporting UMNO’s racist agenda to continue to split the Pakatan Rakyat and perpetuate the differences amonng races.
It is also futile to talk about reforms in UMNO by praising the efforts of certain leaders like Tengku Razaleigh, Zaid Ibrahim, Shahrir and others. Remember that deep at heart, they still uphold UMNO’s racist divide and rule policy, NEP, Ketuanan Melayu, and will never change and do not support a Malaysia where all citizens are given equal treatment.
What the rakyat should work towards now is for the eventual political exit of UMNO and the Pakatan Rakyat taking over the federal govt either through defections or the ballot box with Anwar as the next PM, so as to right all the wrongs of 50 years of UMNO rule. Enough is enough and the people DON’T WANT UMNO any more.

Kenyataan Pak Lah yang menyatakan polis perlu mendapatkan DNA baru untuk memastikan siasatan berjalan dengan lancar menunjukkan betapa dangkalnya minda sains beliau. Mengapa sebelum keluarkan kenyataan mengenai DNA beliau tidak merujuk dengan penasihat-penasihat sains beliau terlebih dahulu?. Setidak-tidaknya rujuklah dahulu dengan menantu kesayangan beliau yang berkelulusan Oxford itu. Atau memang Pak Lah sudah merujuk dengan menantunya itu tetapi si-budak bijak yang keterlaluan itu telah memberikan beliau nasihat yang salah?
Apa pun, kenyataan Pak Lah telah menjadi bahan lawak jenaka seluruh dunia. Tentu dunia ketawa dengan standard pemikiran seorang PM di sebuah negara Islam Hadhari bernama Malaysia.

Walau pun saya bukan penyokong Pakatan tetapi saya kira tidak logik PDRM naK minta lagi DNA Anwar sedangkan DNA DSAI dah diambil pada tahun 1998 dan 2004. Kenapalah juga report Saiful pada polis itu salinannya tak diberi pada Anwar sampai sekarang ini. Sekarang kita dengar banyak orang di pasar atau di kedai-kedai kopi sudah cakap-cakap yang bukan-bukan…Bukankah tindakan bodoh ini merugikan BN. Hal ini boleh memberikan bukti kuat kepada rakyat bahawa kes ini adalah kes konsipirasi. Saiful dalam jagaan Polis dan DNAnya dah ada..dan siapa yang boleh menjaminkan bahawa DNA Anwar tidak disalah-gunakan kalau mereka dah memiliki sampel darah (DNA) DSAI yang baru….? Apakah perisitiwa lama tidak berulang lagi? Berlakunya pristiwa penangkapan Anwar lebih awal sebelum pun tamat tempohnya (2.00 ptg) betul-betul memalukan…jangan salahkan rakyat kalau rakyat dah mula sangsi terhadap kewibawaan Polis. Kejadiaan tersebut betul-betul merugikan BN. Saya percaya dan jamin bahwa jikalau pihak kerajaan selalu berlaku adil dan saksama dalam semua tindakan maka akhirnya rakyat akan kembali menyokong BN. I agree with Dr, Chen inference that the Police must stop harassing Anwar for his DNA by taking the sample of blood, etc but if DNA is empirical that it can determine the time of it been existence, then it further substantiate the suspicion of foul-play that it (DNA) may be planted on a designation by the police/ authorities on Saiful’s body part/s and belongings.
The fact that a 23 y.o., 5’10″ (appprox) being raped by a 61 y.o. with a back pain for (8 separate?) occasions had cast a high-standard of proof that the occurrences of rape/sodomy was elusive and highly likewise a concoction of lies and falsehoods of the parts of the complainant-Saiful.

I find Dr.Chen’s statement is timely in view of his background as medical practitioner. Likewise we expect more medical practitioners or doctors come forward clear the air over DNA requirements. The forensic department under the direction of Malaysia’s police are attempting to obtain DNA samples from Anwar for unethical reasons.

My advise to all who subcribe to this blog is that “be patient” let the law take it own course. I don’t agree with those who contemplate to say bad thing to ministers or even Prime ministers they are elected by the rakyat. If you are smarter than them why don’t you stand in the election see whether anybody sokong u. Cakap senang buat belum tau lagi. Macam takda agama pula…. tak takut tuhanke?

Dengar nama Pak Lah dan kabonet-kabonetnya nak muntah dibuatnya. Harapkan kepala botak, dahi lebar dan rambut uban banyak idea. Tapi menteri2nya asyik tepuk perut. Lapar! Lapar! duit…. masuk… masuk. Hari2 kena bercakap tak kira merapu atau tidak tapi sebelum Pak Lah tertidur dia kena tahu menterinya bercakap untuk sedap hatinya. Forgive me, it sure scares the living daylights out of me to think that a “leader” on the highest level such as the Prime Minister could say something so naive. How could he be so woefully misinformed?
This is as ignorant and potentially politically damaging as George Bush saying that Atheist shouldn’t be considered as American citizens because America is “a nation under one God”….
