Also, the PKR is in favor of a Constitutional Court to deal with issues affecting the persons civic and religious law. Which one should be put first?

Are we a country that puts civil law over religious? Or otherwise?

Sorry, Dato' Seri, but I disagree with you on the fact that I personally am affronted with this mufti for a couple of reasons.

1. He asked that people with AIDS be quarantined in a placement, like that of our smallpox community. Just to point out, Dato' Seri, AIDS is not as contagious as smallpox, as I'm sure you know, and is not a health threat.

2. Secondly, he was responsible for spreading an SMS which stated that a church in Perak was about to baptise Muslims, with Dato Azhar Mansor leading the ceremony. He received the SMS from another woman, but he did not check the details and forwarded it anyway.

3. He was against the racial integrated celebration of Deepavali, along with the Religious Advisor in Bank Islam. Before that, he stated that Muslims should also avoid taking part in Chinese New Year celebrations as well.

I am continually disgusted to know that there are people who support this bigot, especially in this time where racial unity is under threat and religion has become such a taboo topic that nobody cares to even venture into an inter-faith discussion to better understand one another.
